Mamdani also appeared on several Sunday shows, making his case that socialism isn’t a bad word; it’s just a different political approach. Meanwhile, tensions with Iran have escalated: shots were fired at ships in the Strait of Hormuz, putting the ceasefire and ongoing negotiations between the US and Iran at risk.
