A business can never grow past its leader. And there were times when I was a lousy leader.
I wasn't in the right emotional or mental state. And during those phases, my business dropped dramatically.
Thankfully, I am now more mature, and in control of my emotions most times than not.
But playing a victim is one way a lot of Entrepreneurs destroy their business. Listen to the full episode to know more about my journey.
In today's podcast, I talk about the #1 Mistake most new entrepreneurs make.
You see, most new entrepreneurs forget to think about Sales or look at sales as an important indicator to how the marketplace is responding to their product/service.
They delude themselves in believe that I have the best product/service.
The only time you know, you have a winning product is when the Marketplace responds by taking their wallet out and buying your product/service.
Listen to the episode and avoid this costly mistake.
In this new episode of 'The Marketing Nerdz Podcast', I talk about a time when my most ambitious business project failed completely.
And worst yet, I lost all my savings with literally no money in my bank account.
It was a really dark dark place that I was pushed into. I had no hope for the future, no light visible at the end of the tunnel.
I believe, it's something every Entrepreneur goes through... And an experience like this one turns a novice Entrepreneur into a REAL one.
I wish you the best in your Entrepreneurial Journey. And hope you get to learn something out of my experience.
Welcome to Episode # 60 of 'The Marketing Nerdz' podcast.
In this episode, I reveal the complete Drop-Shipping Strategy I'm using to buy a new Mercedes. As you may be aware, I posted a story on Instagram about buying a New Mercedes on my Birthday in June. But I don't want to fund it with my savings.
So I took it up as a challenge to start some drop-shipping stores and raise the money to buy a new car with the profits from the stores.
At the moment, I'm a few weeks into the stores and in this podcast episode, I reveal everything I have done so far and plan to do ahead.
Hope you get to learn something new from it.
Welcome to a New Episode of The Marketing Nerdz Podcast. In today's episode, I (Karan Dharamsi) talk about why you should NOT treat your customers like King.
And what's the right way to go about redefining your relationship with your customers.
It's a really important episode if you are someone planning to start a business, or if you are a Freelancer, a Professional or an Entrepreneur.
Remember this, your business should be an extension of your vision.
Most Digital Marketers are going crazy over Facebook Messenger Bots. I hear so many of them talk about Facebook Messenger Bots changing the Digital Landscape in 2019. Yes, if used in the right context, messenger bots can add a lot of value to your overall marketing game plan. But is it THE THING in 2019? Nope! I don't think so. Yes, the messenger has a high delivery, open and click-through rate. But it's also a very Intrusive and Personal space. You may drive some quick sales with the messenger... But you will end up with far more potential customers disassociating from you or your brand with constant bombardment over the Facebook messenger. No matter what you call it... Delivering value, giving Lead Magnets... there is still a sense of personal space that we associate with the messenger. It's like selecting short-term gains over long-term leverage. To me, here are the 3 Big Shifts you need to make in your Digital Marketing Strategy in 2019 to continue to Build a Brand that stays relevant in the long run.

In this episode of The Marketing Nerdz Podcast, CEO Karan Dharamsi shares the Real Entrepreneurial Journey and his personal experience as a successful entrepreneur.
The Journey that most people do not talk about or something that's not highlighted as much as all the glamorous part of being an entrepreneur and living a lavish lifestyle.
All you see on the internet and media are successful business icons and business leaders who went from zero to what they are today.
Their journey is glamorized of how they started from nothing and are now a part of this successful club.
But no one shares what goes behind all of that, the reality...
From one side, it's really awesome for the society to have people who want to become entrepreneurs.
But most people who want to become entrepreneurs, see only the glamorous version of the story and make the decision based on that.
That is why Karan Dharamsi shares his personal experience in this podcast and his book to be launched soon "Back to Zero".
Speaking about his personal experience, he also shares how he also started off as a naive individual who was inspired by all the books, where there were great things shared about great entrepreneurs.
Not knowing that the difficult part of the journey was not spoken about at length!
So in this Podcast, he shared the difficult part of the Entrepreneurial Journey that's not shared or highlighted!
This journey is never going to be a straight line upwards, it's always filled with difficulties and challenges. And that's what he shares in this podcast as well as in his book "Back to Zero" which is to be launched soon!
Life and success, never have a linear graph…
It throws challenges and tests us out every day. And giving up or running away from them is surely not the way out!
Speaking of Elon Musk and Steve Jobs, Bill Gates etc, Karan Dharamsi shared how they have succeeded as Entrepreneurs.
And thanks to all the glamorized information shared about these successful men, everybody wants to become entrepreneurs like them.
But when you actually read their journey in detail, even they had to face major, major challenges in professional and personal life.
So why do we share this with you?
That's because everyday is a new challenge, that's something that's never going to end!
Success is when you maneuver these challenges, deal with uncertainty and face these challenges.
You want to consider all the pros and cons while taking a step ahead in this challenging journey. Base your decision on actual data and known facts.
Challenges in Business never end!
You have to fight people, your financial situation, your internal self and a lot more to stay committed to your entrepreneurial goals!
If you want to walk this path, you need to be prepared for all such challenges!
What would you do if your company is on the verge of bankruptcy?
What would you do if you have no investors to back your goals?
When you are risking your own money, you need to have a firm decision made on real-time data and no assumptions or the glamorous news shared out there!
At times, projects you think would do great, fire back.
Sharing his personal experience, Karn Dharamsi shares how there was one point where he lost all his savings and had to borrow money from the family while life was throwing one challenge after another.
Eventually, he emerged stronger out of it with a stronger and detailed financial structure.
But again, like shared earlier, you never know what new challenge would come in next. But if you face it once, you will build on the capacity and ability to deal with losses.
So if you too are starting out your Entrepreneurial Journey, ask yourself these important questions:Are you ready to take a financial loss?
Emotional Loss on your way to make it there?
Do you have the capacity to deal with the risk and emerge stronger?
And most importantly, if you want to become a successful entrepreneur, you need to have these two things in place:
Get your intention right - why do you want to become an entrepreneur?
Clarify with yourself if you are prepared to deal with all of this!
And if you are looking to get more details about what really goes behind to become a successful entrepreneur, look out for Karan Dharamsi's book "Back to Zero" to be launched soon!
This book shares every tiny experience, challenge, and emotions faced by an entrepreneur while building their dream!
Grab the book "Back to Zero" by Karan Dharamsi, to know both the sides of the Entrepreneurial journey, the truth often not shared in the open!
