The President of Syriac Writer’s Union - Iraq, Mr. Rawand Polos, explained the objectives of organizing a memorial pause and commemorating Chaldean Syriac Assyrian martyr Day, on the 86th anniversary of the Simele massacre and 5th  anniversary of displacement of our people from Nineveh.
He said that today we are facing difficulties, problems and division, we want to have an opportunity to draw a map of rapprochement and begin resolving differences in respect of the blood shed by the martyrs.
