"Road To Rubble" by Necrosexual is a dynamic and intense album that mixes primal guitar sounds and venomous vocals, starting with "High Times In Hell" to set a dark and energetic tone. Tracks like "Lubricator" and "Damned Romance" showcase rollicking rhythms and compelling vocal performances, while "Twilight Drifter Intermezzo" provides a haunting atmospheric break. The album is both dangerous and emotive, showcasing Necrosexual's creativity and duality, making it their most powerful and effective work yet.

Bobby Ferry returns at the helm as the band's visceral vocalist and guitarist, and in true -(16)- fashion, belts out stories of pain and unhinged anguish. Standout tracks like "Proudly Damned” see the band playing at the crowd while Ferry shares tales of personal strife and depression: "To defile and offend/These are the demons found within/The sullen face of communion’s alarm/It’s an incentive to do more harm." Ferry is absolutely seething while the band plows through a virulent mix of rock, metal, and sludge. Dion Thurman's pounding drum set, Ferry and Alex Shuster's heavier-than-anything-else guitars, and the lowest low end from bassist Barney Firks herald tones so low they're nearly apocalyptic.

The band ERDVE is renowned for embarking on unconventional ventures, opting to perform in locations that may initially seem incongruous with their musical style or are not typically recognized as standard venues. Their first such performance occurred at St. John's Church in 2019, followed by another at Lukiškės Ex-Prison, both situated in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Following the release of their second album, the band took a hiatus to reevaluate their connection with music, identifying elements that would authentically convey their future vision. This introspection culminated in their 2026 release, EPIGRAMA, which presents a familiar yet fundamentally innovative approach to experimenting within the realms of heavy music and reflective storytelling. The objective was to achieve meticulous consistency among the music, lyrics, and sound production, ensuring that every component of the song synergizes to create a meaningful impact. This album signifies a new chapter for ERDVE, characterized by rediscovery, experimentation, and raw expression.

Emerging from the frostbitten streets of Stockholm, Sweden, Dysthen introduces a compelling new voice in the music scene. This raw, enigmatic entity channels the profound duality of existence, exploring themes of beauty and decay, nature and numbness, and the pervasive gloom that accompanies the gradual disintegration of the self. Dysthen forges a unique path, eschewing clichés in pursuit of emotional authenticity, natural isolation, and the resonant silence of dissonance. Their highly anticipated self-titled EP, "Lupus and Bledbloom," serves as a profound meditation on the dual nature of suffering and the peculiar solace it can offer.Official Links:Link Tree: https://linktr.ee/dysthenPassionate about metal? In Louisville, KY, while swamps may be absent, the heavy sounds of Shi create an atmosphere that feels eerily murky. Their music navigates the familiar territory of self-harm and degradation, yet they deliver it with a unique intensity that feels like a new experience. The piercing vocals soar over gritty riffs, establishing a groove that is often missing in standard stoner doom bands. In a paradox where chaos gives rise to order, Shi transforms their dark themes into uplifting sonic moments, inviting listeners into a world where the duality of getting high and grappling with despair coexist. Instead of questioning the how, one should inquire about the extent of their experience.

Prepare for an exhilarating journey across dimensions, propelled by infectious riffs and powerful metal melodies, as Coffin Hunters return with their third full-length album, Cosmic Dawn, set to release on July 17 through Bitter End Records. Renowned for their dynamic live shows and compelling songwriting, the band draws from the realms of traditional heavy metal, science fiction, and fantasy. In Cosmic Dawn, they delve into profound themes such as death, existentialism, and mythology, seamlessly merging classic rock hooks with the raw energy of heavy metal. This album promises to transport listeners from the depths of the grave to the heights of the cosmos. According to Decibel, the experience will be a thrilling blend of influences from the 1970s to the 1990s, creating a polished heavy metal and hard rock fusion reminiscent of iconic bands like Blue Öyster Cult, Uriah Heep, and Angel Witch, with a touch of Death for added depth.

Lexington, Kentucky metal band StormToker plays an eclectic blend of music styles, but are grounded by a love of thick, heavy riffs as the one constant. Four vocalists trading off lead, backing, and harmony roles, unique instruments for metal such as saxophone and keyboards/synthesizers, and guitar work inspired by thrash, prog, classic rock, southern rock and as the band name suggests, stoner metal, doom, and sludge.

Formed as a side project in 2017 by guitarist Anthony Grigsby, bassist David Andrew Langley, and drummer Donte Montgomery, the band first played live as a power trio in June 2018 after the ends of their previous bands. This lineup released three records with "Toke One" in 2018, "Toke Two" in 2019, and "The Mother Tree" in 2022. After the addition of Travis Taylor on keys and saxophone in Dec 2022 the band released their first record as a quartet in Dec 2025 with "These Edibles Ain't Shit".
