We take a look at Michigan's response to the Big Ten, trying to gauge how serious it actually was. And break down how little their finger pointing means relative to what they are accused of doing. A very fine Pick 6 this week with division, conference, and national title implications as we go around the world of College Football for Week 11.

Michigan State finds a way to outlast Nebraska in a game filled with sacks, turnovers, penalties, and grit. The Spartans find a way, take advantage of Husker mistakes, and make enough plays to get over the hump and back in the win column, 20-17.

What needs to happen from the Big Ten powers that be regarding the "me-cheat-again" scandal out of Ann Arbor that threatens the competitive integrity of the 2023 B1G Football season, and why it must happen immediately.
A look back at Bob Knight's legacy through the best year of the Tom Izzo era, featuring two amazing Overtime games in the heart of the winter, in early 2000. And my sense that something was bothering Bob Knight on the night Coach K broke his all-time Wins record, against Michigan State at the 2011 Champions Classic at Madison Square Garden.
So many lessons to take from the ongoing scandal, but maybe even more to take from a lineage that goes back to Vince Lombardi, that shaped not only Knight's career, but the coaching careers of Bill Parcells and Coach K. The biggest of which, so many folks missed as Coach K explained the core of that philosophy in the post-game press conference after he broke Knight's record to win number 903.

We have to mark this moment, this low point in the history of Spartan Football, the 49-0 demolition loss to Michigan at Spartan Stadium. This is the lowest point for Michigan State Football since their 49-3 loss at Michigan in 2002, which was truly the funeral of the loss of Nick Saban and the inability to replace him with Tom Osborne, or another Head Coach who could retain or build on the momentum of the Saban era.
That was then, this is now. And Saturday night was a complete beatdown like MSU has not had from anyone, let alone Michigan, in years. We will talk about the difference makers and stand outs from the game, the post-game, and the headwinds Harlon Barnett must navigate as the fall out begins to accumulate across the vast Spartan Nation

What a difference a year makes for Michigan State. Heading into the Michigan game last year, MSU was looking to right the ship and even up the series in the modern era, since 1995. The game got away from MSU, then chaos and lost cool doomed Michigan State in an ugly post-game tunnel attack. Since then, things have only become less stable for Michigan State Football, who hope to circle the wagons and play their best game of the year under the Spartan Stadium lights this Saturday night.
On the other side, Michigan appears to be rolling but has yet to really be tested over 60 minutes. The Wolverines are looking to make another run at a B1G championship and College Football Playoff. They cannot get there without a win over Michigan State.
It all hopefully sets up for another classic battle between the sibling rivalries of the Mitten State. We've got everything you need to get ready for it, plus a look back at the recent history of this rivalry, on the Spartan Pride Podcast.
