They explore the implications of this transition, including issues of ownership, accessibility, and censorship. It's our Season 5 Finale, and we've gone full circle.
In Season 4 Episode 1, we were joined by Liz McClarnon from Atomic Kitten, who opened our eyes to the idea of no-fly travel: slowing down, seeing more, and treating the journey as part of the holiday.
This episode is the payoff.
Inspired by that conversation, T.A. and Mrs Shelano ditched flying altogether and travelled from Birmingham to Krakow and back by train, covering nearly 2,500 miles across Europe: via Paris, Frankfurt, Berlin and beyond.
In this Season 5 finale, we talk honestly about:
It's not about being perfect, eco-pure or anti-flight.
It's about experience over convenience, curiosity over rushing, and what midlife travel looks like when you choose the long way round.
A reflective, funny, and fitting end to Season 5, and a bridge into whatโs coming next.

Author and horror writer Sarah R. New joins Raging Rich and T.A. Shelano for the final guest interview episode of Season 5 and her stories are unbelievable in the best possible way. From being confronted by a giant kangaroo named Graham, to being accidentally banned from the internet for "radicalisation" during her university dissertation, Sarah brings humour, honesty and total chaos in equal measure.
We dive into her creative process, her love of horror, and how real-life fears shape her fiction - including her raw and powerful novella Hypochondria, inspired by her journey with chronic health issues and a recent diagnosis of hypermobility spectrum disorder. We also explore indie publishing, Eurovision adventures, and her travel memoir, The Great European Escape.
