It hasn’t taken long for me to eventually reveal my woo-woo roots. What are we at… episode 16!? I’ve loved everything to do with the spiritual world since I was a little girl. Crystals, tarot cards, oils, smudge sticks, psychics, mediums, astrology, angel cards… you name it. I’m on it. These practices collectively make me feel connected to something greater than myself and that in turn provides me comfort, particularly through challenging times. And if it makes me feel better, and I believe it helps, then isn’t that good enough? So if you feel embarrassed somewhat for embracing spirituality, please don’t! You do you, girlfriend! Stuff the haters! And if it’s not your thing, then that’s fine too! How awesome is life that we can like different things and that’s A-OK!?

ANYWAY - with that out of the way, it probably comes as little surprise my mum is also into spirituality, and she happens to also be an exceptional tarot card reader. So when we were sitting around recently, I invited her to come on The Midweek Squeeze and share her wisdom. She declined, at first, but that was purely out of fear, because she’s awesome at it. And the world deserves to hear what she has to share! 

She’ll be pulling a card according to astrological elements. 

If you’re unsure what that is exactly: earth (taurus, virgo, capricorn), water (cancer, scorpio, pisces), fire (aries, leo, sagittarius) and air (gemini, libra, aquarius).
