Welcome to the Midweek Squeeze! This is a brand new component of Lemonade where I'll drop into your earphones once a week, on a Thursday, for a quick chat to discuss a whole myriad of things I find interesting from self care, to goal setting, to different tools I implemented on my healing journey, to breaking down the lessons I’ve learnt in my life that could be helpful for you. For the first mini episode, I thought it was the perfect time to discuss the pressure we feel at the turn of a new year to suddenly be an entirely new person. Studies show this is around the time we give up on our well-intentioned new year resolutions, with 8 in 10 of us completely abandoning our plans by February. I don't know about you, but with the turn of 2020, that message to be a new person felt even more potent because we were heading into a new decade.
