Politicians cannot be trusted to tell you how the economy is going. Trump is the WORST in this regard. He may be dumb enough to believe what he's saying, but we shouldn't be.

Republicans are desperate because they've betrayed their voters - so they pull out the Red Scare! It may work, but either way we're getting socialism and authoritarianism. Some on the right LOVE a tough government.
