When the Sanhedrin was unsuccessful getting Pilate to crucify Jesus by just saying that He is a bad guy they bring three false charges against Him.

When guilt is not dealt with rightly it has very destructive effects on us. There is only one ultimate answer for how to address guilt. Bring it to the Lord as quickly as you can.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John. 1:9

Jesus had many opportunities to get out of the Cross yet He chose the Cross… meaning that He chose us!!!

The reason that Jesus was in such great torment in the Garden of Gethsemane was because He knew that in order to to pay the price for our sins He would have to bear our sin. When our sin was placed upon Him, It would mean that He would be separated from God the Father.
