The MLB has dealt with a lot of controversy over its existence. Players have thrown games, bet on their own performances, and broken laws, which has led to disciplinary action on multiple occasions. Earlier this week, MLB commissioner Rob Manfred reinstated Pete Rose, Shoeless Joe Jackson and 7 others from the permanently ineligible list, and made some interesting comments to give reasoning for his decision.
