In 1765, the Sons of Liberty first met, with a goal to be free from British rule. In 2023, the men, which will come to be known as “The Mutual Admiration Society” in future annals of history, met in a secret recording room. There they discussed topics ranging from “what’s editing like for your show” to “why is it you put so much time into your podcasts?”
Are these two groups in any kind of parallel? Lol. Why would you even think that?! This is a hobby revolving around grown men building little plastic tanks, shops, airplanes and cars!

New kits
Justin:
The new kit from Airfix in 72nd scale:
The newly tooled 1:72 Messerschmitt Me410A-1/U2 & U4, the ‘backbone of Germany’s home defence’. The Messerschmitt Me410 is undoubtedly one of the most impressive- looking aircraft types of the Second World War, the ultimate incarnation of Germany's fascination with the Zerstörer heavy fighter concept. Featuring two intriguing schemes, 137 parts, and an exceptional level of detail for this scale. Two schemes: Messerschmitt Me410A-1/U2, 11./ Zerstörergeschwader 26, Gardermoen, Norway, 1945. (A) Messerschmitt Me410A-1/U4, Stab II./Zerstörergeschwader 26, Königsberg, 1944. (B) P&W R2800 - Separate display version (for the Vought Corsair F4U-1A/2)
From Magic Factory
Kit No #7505
1/48th scale
3D printed resin kit
This 1/48th scale 3-D printed resin Pratt & Witney R2800 "Separate display version"
engine (for their Vought Corsair F4U-1A/2 kit) could, w e suppose, be used with any kit
that required an R2800 to be sitting within their diorama space. Second set is the 1/48th scale P&W R2800 in "Maintenance version" format. P&W R2800 - "Maintenance version" (for the Vought Corsair F4U-1A/2)
From Magic Factory
Kit No #7506
1/48th scale
3D printed resin kit
Set of five resin figures in 1/48th scale are designed to work with the F4U kit in the same scale. Again they are 3-D printed, and a quick removal from their base leaves you with these men working on the Corsair
F4U Ground service (5 figure set)

A simple discussion about alternative hobbies morphs into tried and true modeling techniques that work or don't work for each of the guys. Followed by a simple paint discussion that leads to a meltdown by Rob Riv and why he thinks a certain paint company is horrible. Is he just talking BS again, or does he finally make some sense. Listen and decide for yourself...also make sure to stay till the end for the usual hysterical outtakes...
