Welcome to the second installment of this week's water reuse series! So, in today's episode, we discuss the inherent inertia in water management that stems from centuries-old centralized systems, which pose a significant challenge to adopting water reuse. We'll tackle water scarcity from an unusual angle: looking at it as an economic risk, which in turn may accelerate reuse, assuming... policies play their role. That's to say, as an enabler, not a barrier.

We'll discuss how necessity breeds creativity, how there's still legwork to do to overcome public misconceptions about recycled water, and how technologies are reaching a maturity stage that makes them very approachable and plug-and-play.
