Whilst breastfeeding with her left hand, and a laptop in the right hand, Dina took the leap of faith to start her own mortgage brokerage as a self employed adviser. Clients were flooding in and she quickly had to start hiring.
Dina Bhudia, the owner of P2M Group who is both financial adviser AND estate agent, wanted to be on the show because as she put it "I do have something to say so here I am, let me speak". She comes with a powerful message about women in leadership positions from ethnic minorities.
Dina has a banking background and left this world because she didn't feel as though she had an identity. She was just a number. Now she hopes to inspire others who relate to her and want more from their life.
She explains the mental battles between her eastern and western cultures and how she tries to embrace both in the business and personal world breaking all barriers and limitations society would have forced upon her.
Dina's episode is a MUST listen and one to certainly share with friends and family, even colleagues, who you think might benefit.

Siobhan Brookes and her brother Thomas Folan joined forces and started a mortgage brokerage together with a conscious vision for the future of financial services and the digital age.
Having been employed previously in a different mortgage practice, they decided than when going solo and starting their own business they wanted to be more visible and accessible to the online customer. The next generation of first time buyers today want to see and hear you online. This was hugely outside of Siobhan's comfort zone as doing videos didn't come naturally to her.
However, she took lessons and words of wisdom from her parenting style and realised that whilst she was championing her children and encouraging them to be brave, she realised she wasn't taking her own advice. Once she started to listen to herself, her business changed very rapidly and now is a big champion of social media and content marketing.
Siobhan hopes to inspire other women to use their voices and to get themselves out there no matter how daunting it may feel. She promises that it does get easier and the positive impact you make to your friends and clients is all worth it.

Sonya is an Award-Winning Senior Mortgage Broker and Mentor at The Mortgage Mum.
It was a pleasure to speak with Sonya on the podcast. We shared our views about building a personal brand on social media without being pushy. Sonya shared with me her passion for becoming a mentor and role model to other aspiring mortgage adviser mums. She's here to empower and encourage.
Sonya is from a large close-knit family whom she adores dearly and spends a lot of her time with. Sonya is one for a positive mindset and is a self-development obsessive! She also enjoys fine-dining with her husband and going for long walks in the countryside or along the beach thanks to her location!
“People are scared to seek advice because of the fear of judgement or because they don’t understand the industry—and I don’t blame them. The complex jargon, constant changes to compliance regulations and the numerous variables which can affect an application can make mortgages baffling. I knew I wanted to help change it. I’d heard the phrase “if only I’d known” too many times and so I turned my frustrations into actions and started my journey to becoming qualified so that I could make this information not only understandable, but accessible.”
In addition, Sonya is an industry speaker and is passionate about raising awareness on topics such as diversity and inclusion.
Sonya is an avid reader of Vogue and describes herself as a self-development obsessive. When Sonya isn’t arranging mortgages, you will find her either fine dining with her husband or in loungewear surrounded by candles with a cup of tea.

You have got it wrong... and what I heard shocked me..
The Money Honey Podcast is not about interviewing ONLY women in leadership, and award winners. This show is about inviting women to a safe space where together we can bring more female faces to the screen! Everyone has value regardless of their job title, awards, seniority. Please don't for one second think you don't have a place here. Comparison is the thief of joy. Imposter Syndrome is also present in the people you look up to. Please find your voice and know your value.

The delightful, strong, and inspiring Jackie and Ellie from Baya Financial, a niece and aunty business, share their phenomenal experience within financial services. They talk candidly about the stereotypes women have to put up with throughout their careers. They share how they have handled this experience and provide us with many top tips and helpful strategies to rise above the limitations and create a successful business and lifestyle.
Jackie has broken almost every ceiling and barrier within financial services and makes sure she gets an invite to that rugby, football and GOLF event. She explains how women just get the "spa day" invitation from lenders because "that's what women do" but not our Jackie!! She likes the adrenaline, fast cars, and sporting activities. With this, she wants to break the norm that women don't just want to go to the spa.
