Monty & Jake are talking cheating in baseball! The Astros and Red Sox have been caught, but was there really punishment for the two clubs? The Astros lose cash, draft picks, and personnel, Monty says that is not enough and tells you why it’s not really punishment at all. The Red Sox and Alex Cora, who was reportedly the mastermind of both the Astros and Red Sox scandals, decided to part ways, but what will MLB do to punish the Red Sox? Should the Cubs pay the luxury tax to acquire Nolan Arenado? The Cardinals are close to trading for Arenado, but the Cubs could offer a much more attractive package …but will they? Panthers LB Luke Kuechly retired at the age of 28 yesterday, some say it was shocking, the guys say it was not! Tom Brady made some news yesterday, as more signs point to TB12 becoming a free agent and leaving the Patriots. Monty & Jake are talking NFL Playoffs! Did the Seahawks get hosed? A controversial call on a big play gives the Packers an advantage, but Monty says that is not why the Packers won the game. The Niners dominated the Vikings, and the guys debate if the Niners are the best team left in the post season! The Titans shocked the world by going to Baltimore and shutting down Lamar Jackson and the Ravens, can the Titans do the same to the Chiefs, who came all the way back to send the Texans home with a demoralizing loss. The Browns make a coaching hire and Monty wonders if hiring Kevin Stefanski is not as much about the Browns as it is about the Patriots. The College Football Playoff National Championship Game is tonight in New Orleans, and Clemson is looking to go undefeated …again! If they win this game should Trevor Lawrence go back to Clemson to play his final season, or should he simply prepare for the NFL Draft? Monty loves LSU and says the Tigers should win this game comfortably …but will they? The guys talk about a great weekend of pick up hoops, but only so they do not have to update Jakes dating life!
