If you fly Southwest, you might see some differences in the way you board soon.
Carmen had a busy weekend putting up her Christmas tree, hearing about her mom's jury duty and enjoying some taco soup. You can see the recipe at themorningcruise.com.
Dave's neighbors were surprised to see an ambulance outside his house on Saturday and he had to address it before Candice said anything.
Dave, Bill and Carmen all had the chance to see Chris Tomlin in Saturday at his concert in Tampa.
If you are traveling for Thanksgiving, be prepared to see long lines of traffic.
And if you are going to the grocery store to pick up ingredients for the Thanksgiving meal, you'll see slightly lower prices.
Carmen has seen a red light therapy mask on her social media feed and is thinking about getting it, but it has Dave seeing red!
Getting together with family over the holidays can often be times for family members that don't always see eye to eye sitting down together, which can lead to disagreements. So how do you handle those situations?
Seeing a coffee advertised for over $300 may make you turn away but seeing the opportunity to own shares of a Scottish dairy farm may change your mind.

We had a lot of movie talk on the show today after we shared our conversation with Mac Powell from Monday (listen to the full interview HERE). Some of the movies we discussed are coming soon to a theatre near you. Other movies have been out for a long time, like Grease. But, in the case of that film, the jacket that Olivia Newton-John wore on-screen, is coming to an auction house soon and is expected to bring in some big dollars!
Titanic was another movie that captured the hearts of many and Dave told us that a piece of memoribilia from that time in history was just auctioned off this weekend.
Tony Campolo, a Baptist pastor, author and speaker passed away recently. Carmen told us the story of when she heard him speak and a man asked for prayer in need of financial assistance. He said he would not pray for that, but rather for obedience from others in attendance, and soon enough he had gathered the money needed to pay rent.
Christmas music will be coming soon to the airwaves of The JOY FM. One song you will hear during that time comes from Darren Mulligan of We Are Messengers.
While Thanksgiving is less than a week away now, Carmen needed to clarify for some that it is on the 4th Thursday of November every year.
It's a big movie weekend. One anticipated movie is Wicked, adapted from the book and musical. But AMC theatres has already asked patrons to refrain from singing in order to make it an enjoyable moviegoing experience for all.
Also coming to theatres this weekend, is "Bonhoeffer: Pastor. Spy. Assassin." Carley Boyette had the chance to sit down with the writer and director of the film which also features a new song from Lauren Daigle.
And Christmas can't come soon enough for many. That list might include Carmen, who is considering putting up her Christmas tree.

It took re-scheduling 4 different times but we finally concluded Sharathon 2024 yesterday! We are so happy to have it behind us and so grateful for your support. It was a long time coming and there was a lot of fun bloopers to be had over that time.
Over the course of 4 days last week, we spent long days collecting turkeys and one member of our staff got to participate in the distribution of those turkeys in Sarasota yesterday.
This season has felt much like Brandon Lake's new song, Hard Fought Hallelujah
Mohair has longed to be on jury duty and she was happy to have been selected to fulfill her civic duty. We'll let her get her thoughts together but can't wait to hear from her on her experience.
Looking to make your marriage as happy as the day is long? Consider 8 things to pray for your marriage. And take heart with what Paul David Tripp has to say on the subject.
Somebody will be happy as the day is long to cash in on all the possibilities that are being offered for Paul Skenes rookie card. We just hope that card doesn't get the same treatment that Dave's son had with a collectible Christmas gift.
Would you be happy as the day is long living in Alaska? Especially since the sun won't rise there for 64 days!

56:28 BIll's BIG Word
BIll shares from Romans 15:24 and Proverbs 16:9 as he leads us in our Morning Devotion for Thursday, November 21st.
When Carmen shared a message from CeCe Winans about representing God, she talked about "stumping" your toe. Bill was caught off guard with that word choice and decided to use it as his BIG Word of the Day. And Dave decided to try and stump Bill and Carmen with a game of Poet or Poser this morning.
We are also getting ready to finally finish Sharathon tomorrow. Which we weren't sure was going to happen this week when Sara was a storm system threatening our area. But now that that has dissipated, we'll still see some rain showers, but it will be followed by cooler weather.
With Thanksgiving coming up next week, Carmen ordered a turkey for her family. She's gonna do it a little differently this year but she is stumped about how to make her mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes. And it turns out that voice to text can stump others.
Dave took a moment to share a Happy Birthday message to his oldest granddaughter.
A couple of movies have debuted recently that have caught our attention. Bonhoeffer and The Bes Christmas Pageant Ever.

Mac Powell was in town on the United We Worship Tour and stopped by to catch up with Dave, Bill and Carmen this morning. Before he joined us, we shared the tolal number of turkeys collected last week during T-Shirts For Turkeys.
Bill's already getting in the Christmas spirit at his house but his lights are a bit backwards.
After weeks of delays, we are finally getting to the point where we will wrap up Sharathon on Wednesday!
And Carmen took a trip this weekend to Charlotte, NC for a wedding and had a lot of space on the flight up.
Mac Powell got here a little early so we invited him into Carmen's office, but she had to explain why her office decor was wrapped in bubble wrap.
Mac's got a new album, I Love Jesus, and we shared a lot of the songs from the project while we caught up with him.

A lot of planning went into T-Shirts For Turkeys this year and we're still counting so we'll have the totals for you on Monday.
Have you made plans for going to church this weekend? Make it a priority as the connections you make there are so valuable.
Now that T-Shirts For Turkeys is over, we had planned on sharing the details for our makeup day for Sharathon, but Sara might have other plans, so we'll fill you in on our plan on Monday.
If you are making plans during the holidays, make sure Santa doesn't get in the way like it did for Bill this past weekend and for Dave when he was a kid.
Carmen's plan to watch football this weekend has hit a few obstacles as she is traveling to North Carolina for a wedding.
Planning for a 2-minute drill apparently takes 3 8-minute long voice messages to discuss for Peyton and Arch Manning.
Red Lobster has planned a relaunch of their menu with some surprising items.
Several years ago, while making plans for Thanksgiving, a woman sent a text to a wrong number. Jamal was on the other end of that text and wrote back to Wanda to let her know it was a wrong number but wanted to know if he could still be a part of her holiday plans. She agreed and they have gotten together every November since. Wanda recently announced that she is battling breast cancer and Jamal has been by her side during the fight.
With Thanksgiving happening on the latest possible date this year, it means a shortened time for Christmas. And there's a lot of plans to be made to fit in all of the activities.
Bill's family isn't much of a football family. So when his kids planned a wedding years ago, Dave and Carmen had to figure out how to plan their football watching around the happy occasion. But now his daughter is planning a baby shower on the same day as the SEC Championship.
If you ever make it to Rochester, New York, you may want to plan a visit to the Museum of Play and see the latest inductees into the National Toy Hall of Fame.
And you may want to make plans to see the new Bonhoeffer movie as well!

This week feels like it has come and gone with how busy we've been with T-Shirts For Turkeys. Today is the last day for you to go drop off a turkey and pick up a JOY FM T-shirt.
Rudolph is coming back to NBC for the Christmas season.
Before coming in to the show today, Bill dropped off his son and daughter-in-law who were going to NYC for an anniversary trip. Bill looked up some of the top things to do in NYC in 2024 as he thought about their trip and wondered who had been to the top spots.
Carmen had gone to a Leg Day workout with Amanda Tress and the FASTer Way To Fat Loss team on Saturday. That workout made things like going to the bathroom a little difficult.
As we checked in with some of the Turkey Stops, we heard that the FHP was coming for a visit to Lake Wales all in the name of a good cause.
Dave's wife, Emilie, made a taco soup that Dave was raving about but was worried that it was going too fast.

Over the weekend, Bill watched his granddaughter take her time while opening presents and looking at each one in celebration of her 3rd birthday.
Have you seen our red t-shirts out and about yet?
One woman will be looking a little more closely, the next time she takes her daily regimen of pills.
Bill shared some tips for walking which included looking ahead at your surroundings. But keep your ears open for how that conversation went awry.
