While Dave is excited for the latest NASA mission to the moon which launched in the early morning hours, he's also excited for us to launch the new building so he can add a few pieces of space memoribilia to his office. 

Bill launched a new contest with his "Wild Card Word Wednesday" and that reminded Carmen of a recent fail we had with our phone lines over a contest at Christmas. 

Carmen has begun doing research on Maine as she considers it as a summer vacation spot and wanted your help in navigating where she should go. 

With the recent launch of our new weekend on-air lineup, Carmen tasked Jules with writing a new bio for herself. When Carmen read the bio, her curiosity was piqued and she wanted to know what happened to Jules at an Arby's back in May 2003. 

Jules being the prankster that she is, also took advantage of a fail by a restaurant to gift Cotton with a large banner that has to be hung in her office for the next year. 

We are excited for the launch of Paige Brown's new Bible study on Ruth which starts today! Well...mostly excited...as Bill confessed he wasn't all that thrilled by the idea but then learned that his church would be launching their own study on the book of Ruth as well!

We're 2 weeks into the new year but Carmen wanted to make sure we made time to listen to a new song from Brandon Lake. Bill wanted our attention for a 3-minute sermon from Tim Keller. 

Dave made time last night to watch the Manningcast version of Monday Night Football for the first time last night. 

Bill followed up on the conversation from yesterday with the Go Bag as he had the wrong timeframe for his daughter's pregnancy. 

Carmen is loving this time of year with La Nina bringing in the cooler temps. 

If she could go back in time, she thinks she might have been a meteorologist. 

Bill told us that kids who spend time regularly doing their chores see a level of success later on in life, according to a new study. 

Dave is a bit surprised that his time spent in the garden doing chores as a kid led to him having a garden shortly after he got married. 

Carmen got to thinking about the time we have with our kids and she encouraged parents of younger children to make time for their kids as the time goes so quickly. On the flip side of that, we don't know how much time we have with our parents and grandparents so make time for them as well.

Carmen was anticipating the opportunity to mess with a scam phone call over the weekend, but once she figured out what the call was about, she didn't have time to reassess her approach as the caller hung up.

Kids these days are so dependent upon their smart devices. But for Jules kids, there is a new policy in place.

While Carmen and Dave wish some of the college football season had gone a little differently, they are trying to figure out who to root for now. 

We're certainly praying for the folks in California as they find their way around the wildfires. 

Bill had some thoughts on God's ways versus our own ways.

We're certainly thankful that a scam attempt against our coworker didn't go a different way and she recognized the scam before she lost any money. While we weren't sure what would have happened next, Ned was able to fill in the holes for us.

Embracing our imperfections as Christians can be a difficult balancing act. Carmen shared a quote from D.A. Carson that addresses that idea. 

Imperfections are being embraced with a certain food trend in 2025. 

Running a business like Facebook can be full of imperfections. Mark Zuckerberg announced yesterday that one particular initiative of his company would be going by the wayside as it created rifts for some users. 

Self-driving cars are far from flawless. As was the case when one man took a ride to the airport but had to call technical support to make it stop driving in circles.

We're back after the Christmas/ New Year's break! Did you miss us much? 

One of our first texts this morning made sure we didn't miss the Guideposts devotional for today which mentions the radio station. 

We spent some time recap our time spent on the holiday break. Dave had plans to go to Louisiana but had to miss out when his wife needed to make another trip to the hospital. 

Bill has missed going to the gym as he went through physical therapy. But now he needs an excuse to encourage himself to go. 

If you haven't started a Bible reading plan for 2025 yet, you haven't missed much. We've got a few suggestions for you to help get your spiritual health in order for 2025. 

If you missed the Buccaneers game, you missed an exciting win and witnessing Mike Evans make history on the very last play. 

As Dave and his wife had to cancel their plans to visit with family out of state, Dave wasn't all that upset that he had to miss out on family photos. 

Bill and his wife were very intentional about not missing out on the 12 Days of Christmas as they've spent time each night reflecting on the time. 

As of January 1st, Carmen has officially gone sugar free for the last year and she surely doesn't miss it! 

Carmen also shared a quote from D.A. Carson that looks at what we miss out on when we drift from a relationship with God. 

The U.S. no longer needs to be worried about murder hornets and Bill doesn't miss the "squatter wasps" he had to deal with.
