Carmen got us started by encouraging us to get into Scripture as a meeting place with God and going deeper into relationship with him. 

Dave's got an invasion of sorts comng to his house will all 3 sons, 3 daughters-in-law, and all 9 children coming to his house for vacation.

Dave had to make a trip to the grocery store and in the process he gained a childhood favorite - cherry plums. 

Bill is gonna gain a lot of knowledge with the new biography he picked up on Washington. 

While the US men's national team lost to Belgium, they've gained a lot of fans and we've gained a lot of knowledge about the sport as well. 

Brits visiting the States have gained an appreciation for Southern food and gained a few kilos on the scale as well.

Carmen's got to get a move on for her July fitness goals and she thought she got a good start with the hotel stairs and walking throught the sand on the beach. 

Dave had to move quickly to get his lawn mowed before the storms came in. Bill didn't move fast enough to get his lawn mowed. 

As we celebrated the 250th anniversary, many made the moves to see fireworks shows. 

Did you make it to see Young Washington in the movie theatres over the weekend? 

The World Cup is making fans across the States especially with the success that the USMNT has seen. 

Dave had a couple of moving conversations with friends over Zoom as they shared in their grief over losses of loved ones. 

As if Carmen wasn't a big enough fan of Dutch Bros, her recent visit made her a bigger fan as she learned that some of the staff there are listeners! 

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift had to make a lot of moves to pull off their wedding at Madison Square Garden in NYC with so many famous friends in attendance. 

The Tour De France is underway and Dave won't be moving too far from his couch to watch it. 

Kelsey Pfendler was moving fast through the waters of the Pacific Ocean as she set a record for the fastest solo rower to make that journey. 

Dave is making the moves to go for a cycling ride that will also raise money for the American Cancer Society.

Jules is finding it hard to believe that it is time for her daughter to choose a college to attend. And she's even more hesitant that her top pick could be Alabama. And she's also got another daughter hitting a milestone of getting her driver's license. And then there was that time she ran into a teacher. 

From time to time, Bill has a "fun" trivia game for Dave and Carmen. Today was that day apparently as he had a money quiz for them. 

As we prepare for the nation's 250th anniversary, the time has come to bury a time capsule to be opened in another 250 years! 

To slow your brain from aging over time, make little changes to your routine, but maybe don't drive with mittens on. 

Carmen's in a time of "Mahjongg Mania" but this latest obsession has a certain limitation for her.

The show was bookended today by anticipation and retrospection. Dave is anticipating the start of the LSU football season in a new era with Head Coach Lane Kiffin. 

Crowder is anticipating the Independence Day weekend with a patriotic fit check. And speaking of the weekend, Jon Erwin's got a new film coming out looking at the life of "Young Washington" that we can't wait to see. Especially to see for King & Country's Joel Smallbone in a supporting role. 

When you pray, are you anticipating God aiding your comfort or taking the opportunity for His Glory? That's a question that Megan Fate asked in an Instagram clip. 

Bill was a little antsy in the car this morning and had to say a prayer to help him get rid of a roach inside the vehicle.

We had to make sure that Carmen was okay because she didn't play Mahjongg this past weekend.

Carmen's a little fearful that she'll lose her credits on Audible but can't figure out what book to get next. For Dave, as an audiobook narrator, he's not all that worried about people listening to his books but he does have a new concern. 

Some of the worst fears are being realized in the aftermath of the Venezuela earthquakes.

As sports fans had their eyes fixated on the USA's World Cup match last night, Carmen wanted to make sure she got the details right so she had Hitch join the show on-air to talk all things soccer. 

Bill and his family had their first hot pot experience last night and they were so fixated on the menu that they asked for some help to figure out what they wanted. 

Carmen is fixated on a sweet treat that was brought in by the folks of Ruby Ray's Healthy Cafe in Brooksville and wants to get more. 

Back in the day, a woman became fixated with a piece of art and added it to her home decor. A family member recently took a picture and asked AI for help in identifying it and when they did, it was determined to be a very valuable piece. Now Carmen's wondering if she'll have a similar experience. 

In the news, much of the world is concerned with the recent earthquakes in Venezuela that have devastated the country. 

Danny Gokey recently shared that he has a form of OCD that has him fixated on moral/religious issues. 

People looking for deals online are fixated with Amazon Prime Days which ends today. Carmen and Bill discussed their hauls. Some of the deals are concerned with smart speakers and we've heard from many of you that that is how you are tuning us in these days. 

Carmen's biggest fixation right now is Mahjong. She got a new mat that she wanted to show the guys.
