Dave was out today to assist his wife with some doctor's appointments. Jayar stepped in to help out Carmen and Bill on the show today. Jules and Carmen originally agreed to read a Martin Luther book together and help motivate each other to finish. Jules got ahead of Carmen and never looked back. 

BIll is having to find creative ways to help his granddaughter eat. 

Jayar shared that he went for a prayer walk in need of some assistance and God showed up along with Michelle Tellone. 

Carmen took her brand new jeans to a seamstress for some help with the hem. But she isn't happy with the results and asked for assistance to figure out if they could be fixed. 

Hearing about Carmen's seamstress had Jayar thinking about those needs that you've "got a guy for". In that conversation, he realized that his own daughter is a someone that clients have a connection to in her work as a stylist. He tried to help her out but gave the wrong Instagram account. 

The NFL will be adding some assistance to rosters this weekend with the draft. But what exactly are they looking for in a player? 

Songs can provide assistance in time of need. Phil Wickham's House of The Lord is a great example of that. 

Jayar is concerned that in trying to help people with locating a pink moon last night that he got the day wrong since he didn't see a pink-colored moon.

After sharing a part of our conversation with Josh Wilson from last Friday, Carmen shared how she lost a cross necklace that her husband gave her but learned a lesson along the way. Bill followed that up with a story about a lost cross of his own and Carmen was then reminded of another cross necklace she thought was lost. 

If you went in to a room that was all about silence in the World's Quietest Room it would only take about 45 minutes to drive you crazy! Bill's thoughts turned to nature and a little direction from Psalm 19. 

Think you lost something at home? You might find it while doing one of the 3 de-cluttering projects that Bill shared from The New York Times. Carmen was reminded of a few spring cleaning principles from FlyLady. 

Dave got us all caught up on the latest episode of American Idol. Sadly, one contestant who "brought us to church every time he sang" did not make the Top 10. Several JOY FM artists have lost that television competition but found success with their songs on our airwaves. The same may be true for Roman in the years to come. 

Carmen has been glued to her TV lately and surprisingly, it isn't for anything sports or news related. The Baxters, a streaming show based on the books by Karen Kingsbury, has caught her attention. Dave warned her of another streaming option that might have her lost in a labyrinth of true crime.

Josh Wilson joined us on the show today to share music from his album, Mental Help, which comes out May 31st. Josh shared his struggles with depression, anxiety and alcohol addiction. 

Before Josh got to the studio, Dave told us about a mixup with a diet ginger ale product. Carmen shared an Instagram post from Tom Brady who shared a quote from Albert Einstein about negative people. That led to Bill sharing from 2 Corinthians 2. 

Just before Josh got here, we got the shocking news that Mandisa passed away yesterday. As we absorbed the news, we remember that Mandisa, who had her own struggles with depression, is rejoicing in the presence of the Lord. 

As Josh joined us, we shared the news with him and he shared his thoughts on Mandisa's passing before we took a deep dive into the new album and how his journey with addiction and recovery shaped the songs on this project.

We were certainly not starving for information on today's show. And Mac users will have more information at their fingertips than they could possibly have an appetite for as AI will soon be integrated. Carmen shared that she didn't quite have a grasp on the capacities of AI so Bill and Dave shared some of the basics with her. 

Carmen had a rich experience with her Bible Study last night as they take a deep dive into the Sermon on the Mount. She also shared that the "Jennifer Aniston Salad" is making another wave on social media. 

On Monday, our Jewish friends will be celebrating Passover with a seder meal. Bill gave us a lot of information on the tradition of the Jewish faith. And Carmen shared her experience from last year that caused a bit of embarrassment. 

Carmen's not a fan of elevators so when Dave saw a story about the world's largest elevator, he couldn't pass up the opportunity to tell her all about it. What would be worse? Getting stuck on that elevator or underground on the subway? 

Bill shared a list of the states that have the most fast-food restaurants per capita and it seems the South is not starving with the amount of restaurants available. That led to him also sharing some surprising towns for foodies. 

We can't get enough of a new song from Matthew West looking back at 18 summers with his oldest daughter. And we're not alone in that sentiment.

Carmen and her daughter, Abbey, were out for a walk along the riverwalk in Tampa over the weekend and had an encounter with two women representing the World Mission Society Church of God, who asked them if they knew "Mother God". That led to a 30-minute conversation and a deep dive into the organization. They unpacked all of what they learned on today's show. 

But, before they got to that, Bill wanted to know if anybody took advantage of the deals from Krispy Kreme for Tax Day. 

Carmen shared how the staff worked together in packing up the "Fanleys" for the newest Carmen's Crewe members. But those packages need to be sent soon if we want to save a few cents with the USPS announcing an increase on the price of stamps. 

Caitlyn Clark will be packing her bags in Iowa and heading to Indiana as the newest member of the WNBA's Indiana Fever. 

And Bill tried to give us a sports update from the world of chess, but we all sort of checked out!

Carmen told us about an accident she saw on I-75 that had her wondering, "What in the world?". That reminded Dave of the time they were bumped while driving in Atlanta.
