Not much on this show is ordinary! And today that was definitely the case! Dave told us about his dream of visiting Fake Mars but he has some roadblocks in the way.

Carley Boyette sat down with Pastor Dave Stone to hear about the movie, Ordinary Angels, which is based on a true story that involves his former church in Louisville, Kentucky.

Get a move on and go climb a tree! Bill tells us it is good for your brain. And he put that brain power to the test with a little T-trivia Tuesday game. 

In the next installment of our oversharing videos for FriendRaiser, Carmen is excited about a product that gets things moving. And she is the only one that gets that excited for this product!

Carmen shared a video of what she does to help slow down and get that quality sleep she needs. Bedtime routines are a great move towards getting quality sleep as well.

Carmen then shared some thoughts on her interactions with a friend and healing the wounds. 

Zach Williams and Dolly Parton are known for making songs that move us. They did that with "There Was Jesus" and now they are working on a second song together. 

There Was Jesus was the song that McKenna Breinholt used in her American Idol audition. If you missed the full segment in the second hour of the show's debut this week, you'll want to watch her very moving story. 

Just how much we move on a weekly basis is different for men and women as Bill outlines the findings of a new study looking at how many minutes of weekly exercise are needed for men and the difference that women need. 

Carmen is also finding a book by Dr. Gabrielle Lyon that looks at exercise and helping us stay "Forever Strong".

It was a "Dynamo of a Monday" on the show today. Carmen got us started with some thoughts on the shared community of The JOY FM. 

Bill offered a President's Day Prayer. We looked at the weather for the week ahead, which should make for some gorgeous days.

The Kansas City Chiefs certainly set the bar high with their second consecutive Super Bowl win. Sadly, as the parade came to an end the events turned tragic when a shooting occurred and took the life of a Kansas City woman who was also a local DJ. Carmen shared some thoughts on that and brought our attention to Psalm 33 as a reminder of where we truly need to set the bar. 

Two Colorado teens have set the bar high in an unusual game. And now they are being rewarded with scholarships to a school in South Carolina. 

We've got a high bar set for FriendRaiser and we need your help to get that running start going. Even if it takes oversharing. 

If you've been setting the bar pretty low when it comes to dating your significant other, you might try one of the scratch-off date card suggestions that Carmen has been sharing this week. 

When we look at single life vs. married life, we can often set the bar pretty high and Jonathan Pokluda helps to shift the perspective with his thoughts on the matter. 

Carmen set a pretty high bar for 100 partners in the last hour of the show and she hoped that giving away a couple of Stanley tumblers might help. 

Caitlin Clark continues to set the bar higher in women's collegiate basketball. She broke a record last night and is on pace to break more records. 

Growing up in Tampa, Jeremy Rosado dreamed of a career in music and one of his goals was to hear his music on his hometown radio station. He achieved that goal and happened to hear his song, Come and See, this morning. He went to Instagram to show his excitement for this happening!

Have you ever tried putting your legs up on a wall for a good stretch? Carmen shared some of the benefits from the stretching position. 

Back in the day, Dave put his body to the test with headstands and handstands. 

Finding a safe stretch of road to go cycling in Florida is tough. And for Dave, a cycling enthusiast, the roads closest to home are among the most dangerous. 

Carmen wants to get out and stretch her legs a bit with an evening walk as she has gotten out of routine. 

It wasn't much of a stretch for Bill to connect Ben Fuller's song, Who I Am, with The Lord's Prayer. 

We are starting to stretch and limber up as we get going with our running start towards FriendRaiser while also keeping an eye on the state of affairs around the world. 

Carmen and Jules have been stretching their minds with Eric Metaxas' book on Martin Luther. Dave heard her enthusiasm and started to stretch his creative muscle with a Bevery Hillbillies theme song on her Martin Luther fandom. 

It's been a long stretch of time since Downton Abbey has filmed but it sounds like they are returning to the set and begin filming more. 

If you pulled up behind Carmen yesterday at the toll booth, you might have thought she was opening her car door to stretch her legs. But, it was reallly just to show Toll Booth Carmen the nail polish color on her toes. 

Some diet program claims can be a stretch. Bill shared some new diet research and that led to a conversation on whole food nutrition.

Today is a big day for love and the church as we celebrate Valentine’s Day and Ash Wednesday.

Carmen got us started with some fun and romantic date ideas…depending on who you ask. And we learned about a date that Dave had with his wife Emilie when they were dating that failed their expectations.

The date has been set for FriendRaiser and we’re just over 2 weeks away but we need your help to get it started, even if that requires oversharing!

The show today was both sweet and sour.

People that overshare can make others sour about being in the same room with them. For us it turned into an opportunity to share about FriendRaiser with you.

Jules told us about Miracle Berries which are designed to make your palette turn sour things into sweet.

Carmen doesn’t have much of a sweet tooth but she does enjoy the saltier foods including Shiitake Mushroom Crisps.

But of the sweet things that Carmen is enjoying lately, she has taken to making a glass of tart cherry juice and magnesium powder to help her sleep.

For Dave, fresh cherries from the produce section of the grocery store, weren’t a thing until he was an adult.

Trying to follow a Bible reading plan can turn some sour if they fail. Bill reminds us to not quit but maybe ditch the plan.

Paris is known as the city of love. This summer it will be the backdrop to the 2024 Olympic Games. And we think they may have taken a page from our playbook when it comes to the medals this year. And we definitely not sour about it!

Planning a date night for your sweetheart may not be your cup of tea. But for Dave the idea of a scratch-off date night game left a sour taste in his mouth.

Some women who are wanting a sweet-tasting orange are taking to social media and showing how their husbands react when they ask them to peel the orange.

But pranking your spouse with a voicemail for an expensive purchase may sour the mood at home.

The scales tipped in favor of the Kansas City Chiefs in last night's Super Bowl. We talked a bit about their back to back wins and all the other storylines that come with the biggest game of the year. 

We'll have to see just who tips the scales and leads the competition in the newest season of American Idol. But there is one contestant who had a very sweet moment go viral as they've been promoting the start of this season's competition. And the audition in question used "There Was Jesus" by Zach WIlson and Dolly Parton! 

A tip of the hat goes to another country musician, Reba McEntire, who sang the national anthem last night. 

We shared the heavy news of the tragic shooting at Lakewood Church in Houston that occurred yesterday. 

Also making the headlines was the release of 2 more hostages in Israel. 

Dave shared the news of FinnAir and their plans to have passengers step on the scales (voluntarily) to get a more accurate idea of the weight of the planes. 

Closer to home, Frontier Airlines is running a promotion that they hope tips the scales of customers in their favort.

There was some fruitful conversations on The Morning Cruise today. Dave got us started by telling us about a lemon that just sold at auction for a high price. Carmen followed that up with a recommendation for Avocado mash for those that tend to forget the avocados they bought before they go bad. 

Bill then turned to the topic of marriage and how grace within the union can help the marriage grow in its later years and keep it from going sour. That seed of an idea was planted by Paul David Tripp in his book on marriage. And it takes tending to it daily to make it work. 

For us to grow the radio station, it takes a bountiful amount of listeners giving towards FriendRaiser which is just over 3 weeks away! 

Dave shared a sweet moment from the latest season of American Idol. The show hasn't even started yet, but a video of one audition is going viral as it features a contestant singing, "There Was Jesus" by Zach Williams and Dolly Parton. That contestant was  given a bigger surprise after her audition. 

Bill challenged Dave and Carmen to a brand new game he brought to show "based on popular demand" with what he called "Riddle Me This Friday". 

Dave seemed a little bit sour towards the idea that Carmen had about getting 100 people to give towards FriendRaiser this morning. But it was only a matter of time before she saw the fruits of her efforts multiply.
