The Morphin Grid

This episode did not go the way Jake and Josh expected. "Beware The Mutiny" was built up a little bit so they didn't know what exactly to expect but then it went off the rails hard. Listen in for thier thoughts on Aladdin 3, Jake's wish for the zodiac rangers, and why Leo is the worst Red Ranger. If this is "Enter The Lost Galaxy" then what the heck have Jake and Josh been watching for 35 episodes? Get ready for an episode starring a very sonically displeasing bat monster when Jake and Josh watch "Turn Up The Volume". The bat is so hard to listen to that you should be thankful we're here. They also talk about a busted woofer, Damon and Karone's red-hot chemistry, and Joe Pesci's little brother. Today Jake and Josh sat down to watch "Facing The Past". There was a lot to like, and one big thing to hate. But inbetween hating on Grandpa Skeleton the boys talked about the semantics of the Ranger's power, how Karone is kind of a wicked bummer, and the dumbest scene from the Hunger Games movie. After Monday's pretty heavy episode Jake and Josh were excited to watch "Protect The Quasar Saber". Netflix totally spoils the surpries of a familar face but it can't spoil how raw power rangers got all of a sudden. Or that the guys will talk about a mid 90s ultimate fighter. "The Power Of Pink" is an important, heavy episode. Jake and Josh know that but try to add some levity, so in addition to the heavy stuff listen in for Jake tripping over the word "galactic", lots of talk about the clothing store chain Fashion Bug, and one very deep cut Japanese wrestling reference. Hoo boy is today's episode a big one. Jake and Josh watch "To The Tenth Power" and see the return of some familiar faces. They also talk about hardcore wrestling, two rangers' amazing hair, and Mike's new crush. Happy new year everyone! To celebrate Jake and Josh watched "The Chameliac Warrior", which was not how they wanted to kick the year off. They also talked about Kegler's favorite Gamecube game, Jake's printer refusing to work, and the old Primestar website. For the last episode of the year of our lord 2017 Jake and Josh watched "A Red Romance". It's the second time in a few episodes that left Jake wanting to watch Kamen Ride. Listen in for their thoughts on Avril Lavigne's What The Hey, super baggy khaki slacks, and a message for the cops that might be listening. Today Jake and Josh sat down to watch "Loyax' Last Battle" and to be honest, didn't expect much. Listen in real time as they eat their words in this episode, not brought to you Tide Pods.
