The Mother Love Show

Bruce Gold has never been to The Old City of Jerusalem, the  Himalaya’s, Machu Picchu, or any other exotic location where miracles  are thought to take place. He doesn’t dress in Tribal Robes and call himself any other name than the one he was given when he first arrived in this world. He was born and raised,  and realized his gift of healing in his hometown, of Los Angeles, California.  Bruce’s gift, as a Conduit for the Transference of Positive Healing Energies, came as a result of a conscious out-of-body Near Death Experience, which occurred while he was driving alone on a crowded Los Angeles  Freeway in May of 2002. The thing he is most sure of today is that he was most definitely not alone during that fateful ride.http://bgspiritualhealer.com Veronica Williams, The Justice on Trial Film Festival speaks to the challenges of people caught up in the judicial system. They know only too well the pain and injustice—the jail house beatings, the solitary confinement, the stop-and-frisk humiliations, the selective prosecutions with bad plea bargains, and the unreasonably long sentences that they suffer. They are painfully familiar with the school-to-prison pipeline that puts so many young people, particularly those of color, at risk. But their voices are often unheard beyond their own communities. The film festival creates an opportunity to project their voices to a world deafened by the negative images and stereotypes presented by the media.http://justiceontrialfilmfestival.net

Today Judge Lawrence Moniz sentenced Carter to two and a half years at the Bristol House of Correction, with only 15 months of that to be served behind bars. Terms of her probation include never profiting from the experience with paid books or interviews, not leaving her home state without permission, and never contacting Roy's family who asked the judge for a sentence of seven to 12 years while Carter's defense lawyer Joseph Cataldo asked for five years of supervised probation, due to Carter's history of mental health issues, lack of criminal past, and young age at the time of Roy's suicide. "I have not found that Ms. Carter's age or level of maturity or even her mental illness have any significant impact on her actions," Moniz said at Carter's sentencing. He added that the court needed to strike a balance between punishing Carter for her actions and rehabilitating her. She had faced a maximum of 20 years in prison.

President Trump backed a sweeping plan Wednesday to halve legal immigration to the United States, flanked by the two Republican senators who crafted the bill. The RAISE ACT “As a candidate I campaigned on creating a merit-based immigration system,” Trump said. He added that the legislation, would be the “most significant reform to our immigration system in half a century.”The president said that the bill shows “compassion” to struggling American families and that it would “give American workers a pay raise by reducing unskilled immigration.” According to a document obtained by the Times, the civil rights division is seeking current lawyers interested in working on “investigations and possible litigation related to intentional race-based discrimination in college and university admissions.” When to put family first in adulthood.
