@ 2 White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci has been removed from his position after just 11 days on the job. “Anthony Scaramucci will be leaving his role as White House Communications Director,” said White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders in a statement. “Mr. Scaramucci felt it was best to give Chief of Staff John Kelly a clean slate and the ability to build his own team.  We wish him all the best.”The president announced Friday via Twitter that he would replace his now former chief of staff Reince Priebus with the retired, four-star general who had been serving as secretary of homeland security. Priebus left his post that same day, saying he agreed Kelly was the right man for the job in pair of televised exit interviews. The Repeal/Replace on healthcare DOOMED! • @ 2 The Wacky World of WH Politics, @ 3 When to let go of ill loved one(s)?
@ 2 After speaking with Senate Intelligence Committee staff members investigating Russia's interference in the presidential election, President Trump's son-in-law and adviser Jared Kushner insisted Monday he did nothing wrong and wants to get on with his White House duties. "Let me be very clear: I did not collude with Russia, nor do I know of anyone else in the campaign who did so," Kushner during a brief statement outside the White House. After meeting for more than two hours with staff from one of several congressional panels investigating possible collusion between Trump associates and Russians who sought to influence the election in favor of his father-in-law, Kushner claimed he has been "fully transparent" and said he is "eager to share any information I have with the investigating bodies." Kushner will face investigators in another private session on Tuesday, when members of the House Intelligence Committee will interview him as part of its inquiry into possible collusion between Trump associates and Russians who sought to influence the election in favor of Trump by hacking Democrats close to candidate Hillary Clinton. from USA TODAY @ 3 A five-month legal battle to get permission to take a terminally ill baby to the United States for experimental treatment ended Monday after Charlie Gard's parents told a British court they were withdrawing their legal challenge. Grant Armstrong, a lawyer representing Chris Gard, 32, and Connie Yates, 31, told Britain's High Court that "time had run out" and the 11-month-old's parents made the decision after the American doctor who offered to treat the baby told them it was too late and wouldn't work.

  • @ 2 The 45th Responds to son's emails, Secy of Edu Devos/Jackson @ 3 Emmy Nods
The 45th continued Thursday to defend his son’s meeting with a Russian lawyer, characterizing it as standard campaign practice and maintaining that “nothing happened” as a result of the June sit-down. Trump Jr. released emails this week from 2016 in which he appeared eager to accept information from the Russian government that could have damaged Hillary Clinton’s campaign. The emails were sent ahead of a Trump Tower meeting with a Russian lawyer that Trump’s former campaign manager, Paul Manafort, and Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, also attended. The remarks in Paris, made in a joint news conference with French President Emmanuel Macron, came even though Trump’s own FBI pick said one day earlier that authorities should be advised of campaign meeting requests with foreign individuals and even after Donald Trump Jr. said he would rethink his own conduct in taking it in the first place.“Most people would have taken that meeting,” Trump said. “It’s called opposition research, or research into your opponent.” Aramis Ayala is a Florida State Attorney, the first and only black person to ever hold the role. • M.L. & Mr. Kennedy with Wknd in Wrap up @3 pm William McDonald, Author
Representatives of and Mr. Trump's son-in-law, confirmed the June 2016 meeting to CBS News and The Associated Press after reported Saturday that the men and Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya got together at Trump Tower. The meeting occurred two weeks after Mr. Trump secured the Republican nomination for president.  While living in Florida a number of years ago, I attended a Renaissance Festival.  While there, I thought it would be fun to get a tarot card reading.  Didn't think anything of it, other than it would be entertaining.  Well, during the reading, I was told I would write a book.  I kind of laughed it off, since I never considered myself a writer, nor did I have any intentions of writing a book. Well, one Monday morning in June 2012, I spent time mediating, as I normally did.  When I finished meditating, I went out to our screened in patio with a pen and note pad.  Three hours later I had completed writing my first children's book which I titled Flying Together, "It's OK, Really".  I honestly cannot tell you where the words or story line came from.  Over the past few years I have learned that I am getting these stories are from my higher self.  Since that day, I have written 3 more children's books that are in the process of being illustrated and edited.  I also have ideas for about 15 more in the series. Each of these books are about issues that are affecting our children, and parents, in today's world and how they can overcome them.

  • Presidential Smack down, REALLY stop this! What would the Founding Fathers think
President Trump shared a video Sunday on Twitter of himself slamming WWE President Vince McMahon to the ground and punching him, with the CNN logo superimposed over McMahon’s head, escalating his recent attacks aimed at the news media. The footage, taken from “WrestleMania 23” in 2007, shows Trump approaching McMahon outside of the ring, using a clothesline move to knock him down and punching him in the head before turning to walk away. The president’s tweet included a pair of disparaging hashtags: “#FraudNewsCNN” and “#FNN.” The video was also shared by the official @POTUS account. "Hawaii Five-0" stars Daniel Dae Kim and Grace Park have left the CBS show after the network refused to pay them as much as their white costars. The average female employee at the White House earns about $78,400, while the average male employee earns about $88,600. That's a gap of 13 percent - the same percentage as 2009, when the average woman made about $72,700 and the average man earned about $82,000. Women tend to hold more junior positions than men, and among White House leadership just 53 female officials make more than $100,000 compared to 87 males who do."At the White House, we have equal pay for equal work," said White House spokeswoman Jessica Santillo told the Post. "Men and women in equivalent roles earn equivalent salaries, and over half of our departments are run by women."

The gunman has been identified as Dr. Henry Bello, a former employee. He allegedly brought a rifle into the hospital underneath a white lab coat. The incident began at 2:50 p.m. at 173rd Street and Grand Concourse in the Mt. Eden section.Four to six people were shot, and other people suffered minor injuries while attempting to get away. Trump won the White House promising an American economic boom and jobs for displaced workers in the Rust Belt, pockets of the country that helped to fuel his electoral win.  The Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity, formed by President Trump to investigate his widely debunked claim that millions of illegal votes cost him the popular vote in the 2016 presidential election, sent letters this week to the 50 secretaries of state across the country requesting information about voters. The letter, signed by commission vice chairman and Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach (R), asked for names, addresses, birth dates and party affiliations of registered voters in each state. It also sought felony convictions, military statuses, the last four digits of Social Security numbers and voting records dating back to 2006
