Not only did this Australian abattoir worker stab her lover with a butcher knife at least 37 times in February 2000, she then chopped him up, cooked him, and prepared to serve him to his own children.

Dr. George P. Archer was considered one of Eastern Kentucky's most active civic leaders, doctors, and leaders. He had served as chairman of the Big Sandy Area Development District's board of directors since that body was officially formed. He was a surgeon and a person who had held the office of mayor and was going into a 4th consecutive term. By all accounts the good he did for the region was astounding. So why was he murdered on July 12, 1973, in the parking lot of his clinic where he helped so many people? Who exactly was he?

The events of a certain balmy night in August of 1955 would read like a smash hit out of Hollywood. The strangest of encounters would take place at a secluded family farmhouse, in rural Kentucky, miles away from the next neighborhoods. Two entire families became imprisoned and surrounded by “goblins from outer space!”

A stand-off that would last hours, well into the early morning, and would leave behind one of the most truly remarkable of accounts, also left visible evidence of “something” very strange having happened – as well as several battered, shaken and in some cases, even wounded witnesses.

As wild as this night sounds, and whatever the “goblins” were, the events are still the subject of debate today. Not least, as we will look at a little later, is the information that began to surface decades later. This information would link the incident to one of the prime UFO hotspots of the United States.

Just what happened that evening in the summer of 1955 in Kentucky? And how does it fit into the larger UFO and alien picture?
