Like an arrow shot from a crossbow Episode 36 hits your pod-ears. It is the last movie we're covering in our Final Girl mixtape and it is our shared pick, 2019's Ready or Not.

We've been talking about some awesome Final Girls these recent weeks and Grace, played by Samara Weaving, is no exception. This one is a lot of fun.

Topics include but not limited to: goat sacrifices, rich people with their nonsense, and folks who kinda look a bit like Ursula the Sea Witch.

Abracadabra

At The Movie Mixtape we're all about love and sharing the love. So when we have the chance to do exactly that with a friend of ours about one of their favourite ever movies you better believe we are taking that opportunity.

Traynor (a.k.a THE PINBALL WIZZZZZZARD) joins Marcie and Dirk for this very special bonus episode in our Animation Mixtape, chatting about the Aardman Animations classic film -  Chicken Run.

Over the course of 60 minutes we discuss all the important business of - who is the superior fowl, Ginger or Babs? How many chickens have Welsh accents? and what is the most cost effective ratio of meat to veg for a Chicken Pie?

What a flipping film. We all had a blast chatting about this incredible piece of cinema magic from Sony Pictures Animation. Are we now all getting Leap of Faith tattoos or what?

Join us as we discuss rising whilst we fall, the voice cast of all voice casts, and complicated relationships with fathers (of course!)
