We head back to the future (again) in "Badlands," another stellar episode of Wolverine and the X-Men where a traumatized Polaris has filled the shoes of her father, Magneto, and rips apart Sentinels while trying to kill Xavier. Ironically, Maddy and Ryan actually like this show's version of Xavier, who seems a lot more human and well-rounded in this episode, as opposed to the selfish, closeted, rich man he ordinarily is. With no society to be rich, Xavier is pretty much powerless. Also, Wolverine is still doing a terrible job leading the X-Men in the present day, but the results are totally in-character and very funny.
X-Men Spotlight: Polaris!!!
Next week's episode: We're taking a break because Ryan is sick, but we should be back the week after that with "Code of Conduct" (Wolverine and the X-Men)
