Nate visits Clark Sports Center in Cooperstown to chat with famous Hawkeyes basketball alumna, Liz Millea. She is a 2016 grad from CCS and just finished up a very solid career playing for the D2 Le Moyne Dolphins. We look back on her fantastic high school and college careers, and find out what she is up to today. We also sneak in some talk about her unique pets!

Nate connects with 2017 Sidney alumna, Carolee Pierce. She currently plays college basketball for Wilkes University in Pennsylvania. Carolee is a basketball fanatic! We talk about her love for the game and how she hopes to become a coach in the future. We look back on her successful career at SCS and she shares some of her favorite memories.

Nate is joined by Oneonta Girls Basketball Coach, Matt Miller. Coach Miller is an OHS alum and tells us about his successful high school playing days under Bob Zeh. He also talks about his college basketball career at SUNY Cobleskill and Ithaca College. He has been at the helm for the Jackets since 2010, and we look back on the great success the program has recently experienced. Coach M gives us some of his favorite memories from excellent Oneonta players like Mariah Ruff, Ally Baker, Taylor Microni and many more.

Nate chats with Unatego junior, Alexa Lucia. Lex is a 3-sport athlete for the Spartans playing soccer, basketball and softball. She is known for being a quiet but fierce competitor that does not back down from a challenge. Learn about her role as a major part of the UCS soccer defense. This strong back line helped Unatego reach the state championship game in 2019. Get to know this self-proclaimed shy athlete in this in-depth interview.

Nate sits down with Deposit softball legend, Makenzie Stiles. She is currently a pitcher at the University of Pittsburgh (D1). They discuss her transition from a small high school program to playing in the ACC. She also tells us what it's been like playing during COVID-19 times. Makenzie looks back on an extremely successful high school career where Deposit won 4 NYS titles. Take a behind the scenes look at one of the most decorated softball players in state history.

Nate welcomes daughter-mother combo, Hannah and Bonnie Johnson to the podcast. These two bring a unique perspective on local sports. Hannah is a standout athlete at Oneonta High School where she excels in soccer and basketball. Bonnie is the principal at Franklin CSD and is also a longtime coach at a variety of levels. Hear about what it's like to balance family life, sports, work and more during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Nate catches up with Franklin coach, Allecia Laing. She coaches boys varsity soccer, girls JV basketball and varsity softball at FCS. Allecia is also known for being a tremendous athlete at the high school and college level. She has been inducted into the sports hall of fame at Maine-Endwell high school, SUNY Oneonta and the Section IV HOF. We look back on her playing days and find out how she got into coaching. 

Nate finally catches up with Windsor baseball coach, Brandon Olbrys. Many of you know Coach O from his time with Hancock and D/H baseball. He is one of the most successful young coaches in the area with 215 wins in just 11 years. At Hancock and D/H his teams won eight S4 titles and made four appearances in the state final four. The D/H state title in 2018 is one of his biggest accomplishments. Hear about his coaching philosophy, his college playing days and much more. 

Nate brings on 2020 South Kortright grad, Chris Champlin. He is a first year student at Post University in Connecticut and will be playing D2 baseball. Post has already cancelled the 2021 season, but Chris and his teammates are fighting for the right to play. Hear about that project and learn about his very successful sports career at SK. Chris also shares that he has Type 1 diabetes. We learn how he handles daily life and sports while constantly keeping an eye on his health. 

Nate catches up with Afton sister and brother combo, Jessica and Josh Winans. Jess is one of the best 3-sport athletes to ever come out of Section IV. She talks about her highly decorated high school career and her Division-1 college softball days at Coastal Carolina University. Josh used his blazing fast speed to become a feared 3-sport athlete in the area. He went on to a very successful college career at Cazenovia.
