Upton to his current job with the Bobcats. Coach Conway talks about former players, teams, big playoff games, runs to the state tournament and so much more. Nate sits down with longtime Oneonta Soccer and Basketball Coach, Jerry Mackey. They talk about the impact of COVID-19 on local sports and the outlook for next year. Coach Mackey tells us about his playing career and how he got into coaching and teaching. The guys discuss several OHS teams and athletes and look back on the Oneonta Girls Soccer state championship in 2013.

Nate catches up with longtime South Kortright Coach, Bob VanValkenburgh. Coach Van is one of the most respected coaches and athletic directors in the area. They look back on his early days at Kortright and learn about how he got the job at SK. They also talk about some of the most successful teams he has had, including his state championship boys basketball team in 2009.

Nate chats with the Selfridge family from Bainbridge-Guilford. He is joined by Bobcats Volleyball Coach Tami Selfridge along with her talented daughters, Abigail and Erica. They helped B-G win back-to-back state championships in volleyball in 2017 and 2018. Abi is now playing college volleyball at D2 Clarion University in Pennsylvania. She was also a talented basketball player in high school scoring over 1,000 points and grabbing over 1,000 rebounds in her career. The family tells us some life changing news on this episode as well. 

Nate connects with 2019 Franklin grad, Tyler Gregory. He is now a cadet at the United States Military Academy at West Point. We hear about Tyler's experience during his first year at the academy. He also talks about the difficult process of being accepted into West Point. They finish up by looking back on Tyler's days at FCS where he was a 4-sport athlete for the Purple Devils.

Nate sits down with Empire State Takeover founder, Jeff Mlinar. EST is based in Albany and offers a high level summer basketball league for high school girls. Jeff also organizes showcases and combines to help athletes connect with college coaches. The guys talk about players from this area that have participated in EST over the years and chat about how Jeff created the program from the ground up.

Nate talks with Norwich Girls Basketball Coach, Josh Bennett. They take an in-depth look into the NHS program which captured its 2nd straight S4 Class-B title this year. They also talk about the season being cut short by COVID-19. Coach Bennett is known for his intense style on the bench, and we get to hear his perspective on why he coaches the way he does.

Nate talks with longtime Worcester coach, Jim Kenyon. JK has been a staple at WCS and in the Tri-Valley League for over 40 years. They look back at his playing career in high school and college. Coach Kenyon also tells us how he got his job at Worcester and highlights some bright moments in Wolverine history.

Nate catches up with Sidney alumna, Connor Decker. She was a 3-sport athlete for the Warriors and went on to play college softball at D2 Mansfield University. They look back on her pitching career and talk about her favorite moments. Connor also shares the story of how losing her Dad at an early age helped shape her into the person she is today. 

Nate connects with Unatego senior, Jacob Haqq. He tells us about his journey to a state championship in the triple jump this past winter. Jacob explains how he fell in love with the sport and how it helped him earn a D1 scholarship to Boston University next year. In light of recent events, Jacob, who is a black athlete and whose father is a police officer, shares his feelings regarding racial tension and law enforcement.
