World News: The European Union has opened a formal investigation to assess whether Microsoft may have breached EU competition rules by tying or bundling Teams to its Office 365 and Microsoft 365 packages. The probe comes three years after complaint from Teams rival Slack.

We spoke to the NSPCA earlier about the 50 000 live sheep that are being loaded on a ship to be exported to Kuwait, in the Middle East. The NSPCA says the conditions do not meet the guidelines on exportation of live animals by sea. The organisation failed to interdict the process and those sheep will be leaving the country soon. The African Farmer’s Association of South Africa in the Eastern Cape is helping in facilitating the export for an emerging farmer in the province and they want to clarify some details. A Netflix documentary that was released last week has caused a global stir as Professor Lee Burger together with his international team of researchers found that ancient species of small-brained humans (Homo naledi) were actually smart as they exhibited advanced behaviours such as burials. It will now allow users to post using text only. The platform says it wants to broaden options for content creators. It will allow users to add coloured backgrounds and stickers to their posts, with a limit of 1,000 words. Is this new feature likely to give Twitter a run for its money considering the fact that many Twitter users are looking at alternatives? Four people were shot dead during a shootout at a taxi rank in Port Sheptone in KwaZulu-Natal today. It is alleged assailants fired shots at a taxi with occupants inside.
