The DA is back in charge in Tshwane following a court Judgement. This after the Gauteng executive council and Cooperative Governance MEC lost their appeal against the enforcement order issued to the DA regarding the dissolution of the Tshwane Municipality. The ruling by the Supreme Court of Appeal gives the DA the reins in the City of Tshwane and the party can oust the current administrators.

Soweto Mandlanzi, the author of the book, Decoding 666-9: The inexplicable life of Senzo Meyiwa who has been receiving death threats since he started working on the book. Mandlanzi conducted interviews with people close to Senzo and his theory is that it is impossible for those who were at the crime scene not to know what went down on the day Meyiwa was shot and killed. The former Bafana Bafana goalkeeper as you may recall was killed at the home of his then-girlfriend Kelly Khumalo in Vosloorus, Gauteng, in October 2014.

The NPA is adamant that is has a strong case against the 5 men accused of the murder of soccer star Senzo Meyiwa. The Prosecuting Authority says more arrests are imminent. Earlier today Themba Sibiya, Bongani Ntanzi, Mthobisi Ncube, Mthokozisi Maphisa and Sifiso Ntuli appeared in the Boksburg Magistrate's Court east of Johannesburg. They've been charged with murder, attempted murder, robbery with aggravated circumstances and possession of ammunition and unlicensed firearms.

Angelo Agrizzi's lawyer says the court was wrong to declare him a flight risk. He was speaking after the judgment in the bail application of Agrizzi. The Specialized Commercial Crimes Court turned down Agrizzi's bail application, more than a week ago, after the state argued that he was a flight risk. Agrizzi is currently facing fraud and corruption charges, dating back to when he was working for BOSASA. His bail appeal hearing took place in absentia as he is still in hospital.
