A motorcyclist must be hyper aware of their environment and practice good motorcycling skills to ride safely and effectively. The rider must be able to scan and identify potential situations or hazards, predict possible outcomes, decide on a course of action, and execute that action to ensure they will live to ride another day.

"Masculinity" typically refers to a set of attributes, behaviors, and roles associated with boys and men by conventional society (often contrasted with femininity, although both are social constructs that can be expressed by anyone, regardless of gender). Common traits linked to the traditional definition of masculinity include strength, resilience, leadership, responsibility, honor, stoicism, and independence. 

But is this concept of “manhood” or “manliness” expected by society positive or negative? And, is the traditional masculine approach to things always the best approach?

As it is said, “everybody’s a critic”; also popular, but less politically correct, is the old adage, “Opinions are like ***holes – everybody has one and they all stink”. 

And while everybody is indeed a critic, there are some who are unable to take criticism, whether that is because they were always shielded from it growing up, or are simply very sensitive. However, often time it is the manner of criticism or feedback we receive that affects how we are going to take it. Is the criticism constructive, or helpful? Or is it destructive, just plain mean for the sake of cutting someone down?

What is a Soulmate?

Merriam Webster defines a soulmate as: “a close friend or romantic partner with whom one has a unique deep connection based on mutual understanding and acceptance”

Whether you believe in the concept of soulmates or not, there is no denying a connection we can have with someone which feels like it is on a whole other level. Although we as Satanists do not recognize the “soul” as an energy or life-force, “soulmate” is an apt term we can use to describe the one person who is suited to us and only us. The person with whom we feel deeply connected; the person who makes us feel loved, safe, and understood. Soulmates share a mutual respect, genuine love, and complete understanding of each other.

Eventually, however, soulmates must part, whether through circumstance, or death. How does one deal with the death of a soulmate? When a part of you is “ripped away” and leaves you feeling empty and incomplete?
