Natalie is a 29 year old mom of 3. She's a working mom and her oldest son has autism. 
She was a first time mom and her son developed completely normal. He hit all his milestones and was talking but when he turned 18 months, everything changed.

In 2019, Filippa discovered that she had a symptomatic prolapse. She was shaking for hours and thought her life was over. After the healthcare system completely let Filippa down, she woke up one day and decided to fix this on my own. It took about 2 and a half years till she reached a state of being completely symptom free. She shares that although this was worst thing she ever experienced, it brought her life purpose: starting Moonrise Health to help other women heal from pelvic floor dysfunction holistically.

Symptomatic prolapse is determined by self-report of a feeling of bulge, pressure, or protrusion or a visible bulge from the vagina.

The most common risk factor for symptomatic prolapse is Vaginal childbirth, which can stretch and strain the pelvic floor. Multiple vaginal childbirths raise your risk for pelvic organ prolapse later in life. But you can get prolapse even if you have never had children or if you had a cesarean, or C-section, delivery.
