The loss by Alabama created some drama on Selection Sunday for the College Football Playoff. Alabama stayed as the #9 team while the Notre Dame Fighting Irish fell out of the rankings and were replaced by The Miami Hurricanes.
The top spot is taken by the Indiana Hoosiers who won the Big Ten Championship by beating the Ohio State Buckeyes 13-10. That allowed Indiana to reach #1 for the first time in school history.
