I've been tracking Robin Arnott's SoundSelf for forever. Now, after taking a variety of forms, the experience -- which Arnott calls a technodelic -- is coming home in both VR and PCs.

We catch up with Arnott, who formed the company Andromeda Entertainment to explore transformational experiences, and Andromeda's Chief Strategy Officer Lyle Maxson to talk about the upcoming release of SoundSelf, technodelics, adventures in mind expansion in the Oregon forest, and the strange landscape experiential work finds itself in now. Originally scheduled as the Horizon keynote speaker for the second day of the HERE Summit, Mikhael Tara Garver is the Head of Experiential Entertainment for Category 41, a "global experience company that creates, incubates and syndicates location-based experiences."

She's also a long time friend of the show and one of the few people whose careers in immersive & experiential has stretched long and wide enough to gain true perspective on this always-changing domain.

In lieu of the speech, we took to the HERE Discord on March 28th and opened the floor up for an Ask Me Anything session. This is the result.

Story Engineer Shawn Taylor, a founding author of www.thenerdsofcolor.org, and a founding organizer of the Black Comix Arts Festival, first hit my radar at the 2019 IDS thanks to Mikhael Tara Garver. Shawn brought a perspective that was rooted in pluralism and the power of story to move people to action... and at that moment I knew I had to get him on the show/get him back on our stage.
