For years I have struggled before every class I go to. It's never stopped me from going but it can take up a lot of energy. 

This week I struggled before one of my classes so I decided to document it in the hope that it helps. I know for sure there are so many people out there that have panic attacks and anxiety before events. 

Not always classes but for some people just going out the the house can be a problem. Hopefully this will help and remember you are not alone.

The idea expanding your mind has been around for thousands of years. This is not a new concept. 

What does it really mean? 

Neuroplasticity is the ability to really use brain as a muscle and all the things that come with that. In this talk we look at the side of your brain that takes care of habbit. Good and bad. 

How these little fibres are in embedded in the brain from childhood and how we can use them to help us.

This is a special one. I was asked to do a talk for a mens self help group run by my very close friend Adisa Banjoko. 

The topic was about empowering the inner voice if your children but from the aspect of fatherhood. What can we as men do to help our children feel more confident. 

The focus was on the language we use as fathers and men. How we speak to our children and engage them.

The idea of validation is has been thurst into the limelight due to social media. The fact is it's been around way longer than that. 

Since the dawn of human existance we have been searching for validation. Why? From who?

This talk explores the need for validation, why we need it so badly and also the dangers of getting it from people who shouldn't really be giving it.

From the dawn of time we have all been tested in one form or another. For the cave people it meant passing a test that ensured your survival. The modern age brings us exams. A lot of exams. 

In the modern school age we are tested from the age of 6 upwards. Some would say this is too much for children to endure. In later life we have to take exams that mean we will or will not get the career we really want. 

Even in working life we get exams that mean we will or we will not get the promotion we want. 

You can't avoid it. 

This talk explores exams and the stress behind them. How to deal with that stress, how to change your view point on that stress. It also looks at what happens when you don't get the results you want.

In the UK we are currently butting heads when it comes to wages.

We have so many people on strike at the moment and for good reason. The disruption caused is making life harder than it should be. This is the other side of the argument. 

On this talk we have consider both sides.

Are you in favour of strike action because people are not paid enough. Or do you think people should get on with it because there is no money to give out anyway.

Some people are just good at everything. Let me introduce Dan Powell. 

From Judo, running, rowing this man has seen at all and as one of the top 2 Olympic Athletes on this plant he is a different level. Dan is a pioneer for inclusion and disability sport. His work ethic and urge to help young people is ground breaking. 

Now a business owner, when most will talk the talk Dan is really living his values and inspiring the next generation to be better.

In modern conversation interupting someone can be one of the worst traits. Lets face it we all know someone who when we try to speak they just cut accross us and end the conversation. 

We feel like we are getting shut down. So then why do we do it to children?
