The NovaCast: A Digimon Rewatch Experience

Digimon Data Squad Episodes 28 - 29. It's a new year but the same us! All the bits you know and love (and plenty that'll make you groan) as our heroes hit the big time! BanchoLeomon is back and he's here to teach us the importance of biology, or, something, as our heroes try and fix their broken Digivices. We also talk about some news that was outdated well before this episode came out, dub complaints, Rugrats sleep paralysis demons, and Kurata's evil plans ramping up at a startling clip! But hey, we've got three whole Megas to gush over, so surely everything will be ok, right?

The NovaCast has made its grand return to form with Digimon Data Savers Squad, and with it, we're bringing a whole bunch of bio slime to get our trip started! We get down to maxxing out our talks about goons with our new villains that have appeared, some new evolutions, and a whole lot of misinformation! Between all of that, some Digimon Partners talk, and the return of emails, this episode is jam packed with all the good stuff we've all been missing, so tune in!

Get out your damage calculators, gather your memory gauges, and get ready to shuffle for the definitive NovaCast episode on all things TCG! Between the first card game America saw all the way to the one that's played now and all of the most obscure ones in between, Mina has researched and unearthed a treasure trove of trivia and facts to share with all of us. Combine that with a special surprise at the end from Sloane, as well as some talk about the recent 02 movie, and you have the makings for a tier 0 episode!

Sloane has concocted her most devious scheme yet: a Digimon game show for Mina and Thom to try and stumble their way through! With 102 of the toughest questions and most cryptic riddles she could think up, it's up to Mina and Thom to try and make it to the end without hitting the negatives. So sit back, relax, and enjoy a rousing game of trivia that would trouble even the most staunch Digimon scholars!

It's the final part of our X-Antibody tier list, and if we thought the X-Antibody forms last time were wild, we haven't seen anything yet! This episode features some of the best and some of the stinkiest designs around, so if you've ever wondered how some of the most beloved designs in the franchise look with a neon coat of paint, well, look no further!

Sloane, Mina, and Thom decide to finally take on a most horrifying and daunting task: to rank all of the X-Antibody forms that are currently out. With a hefty tier list in hand and Wikimon at the ready, the Novacast brave some of the Designs of All Time in the first half of their X-Antibody form tier list!

After 3 long years, the Nova Cast revisits the Digimon fighting game of our dreams to add six more fighters to the melee. Tune in to hear our wildly unlikely choices, as well as some new stages to throw down in, and some brand new mechanics to boot! We also get stuck into the bonanza of Digimon movie news, including the new English dubs and 02: The Beginning. Can’t escape from X-rossing fate!

Digimon Data Squad Episodes 24 - 26. Flashbacks galore as we finally meet Spencer Damon (sorta) and Kurata reveals (again, this time for real) his master plan to decimate Digimon as a whole. We get to see cool new forms and the terrifying evolution of Gizmon as we do our best to avenge our favorite Frigimom. A new villain is on the horizon, though, as we shotgun losing and regaining our memories at record speed! If you're looking for a podcast that examines the subtext of Kurata's actions, then look no further, because this episode is the one for you!

Digimon Data Squad Episodes 22 - 23. Come on down to Marcus's house for the ultimate sleepover! We've got fried egg curry, great mom speeches, the third Leomon death, reverse Jenga, and the most Dragon Ball Z this franchise has ever been! But before we can settle in, we have to contend with the Novacast's favorite new filthy little Rat, his obviously evil stormtroopers, and the surprising trivia about his voice actor!

Digimon Data Squad Episodes 20 - 21. More mothers are brought to the fray, as we get some insight both to Keenan's biological mother and Keenan's true mother. There are tearful reunions and tearful goodbyes aplenty, but what's more tearful are the way that more goofs in the dub seem to keep popping up! We also contend with some new antagonists, and have to deal with Gotsumon being somewhat competent! More than that, we talk about the Digimon Frontier that Could've Been, and discuss the gayest Digimon. Happy Pride!
