After the highest highs, the lowest lows, the mountains we struggled to climb and the arcs that were smooth sailing, the NovaCast is now making a Completely Objective tier list of the DigiDestined of the first four seasons! Battles will be fought for the most beloved characters as we go on in-depth discussions over characters we haven't talked about in a long time. Join Sloane, Mina, Thom, and new guest for the rotating retrospective chair Meg, as the four of them dive deep into the most tumultuous season of Digimon yet and lay their final feelings out for the world to hear! From chuckleheads to goons and eleventh hour Big Bads, we lay it all out so we can lay it to rest. But don't worry! We have one final Positivity Corner in store, so hop aboard your Trailmon of choice with us as we send this season off with a farewell we've been waiting to give it for a long time.
Digimon Frontier Episodes 49 - 50. We've done it! Through the mids and lows, the NovaCast has finally managed to come out on the other end of the tunnel that was Digimon Frontier. Our farewell episode is packed to the brim with confusion over flashbacks and reused animation, the most compact ending in existence, and one final round of rewrites. We’re leaving the Digital World to our Italian speaking spirit selves before we disembark this train and assure everyone that, yes, we really do have friends now.
Episode 49: 27:25
Digimon Frontier Episodes 46 - 48. Those rotten royals are finally gone once and for all, but now the crew has to contend with a malicious twink who can evolve into an evil himbo with the sickest wrestling moves of all time! The NovaCast’s long journey through the barren Frontier is nearly at its end, yet the gang somehow still find ls time to have unnecessary flashbacks, mess with babies, lament mortality, and get mad about forced ships! New forms are found and old friends are lost, cuz it’s time to square up with the biggest baddie yet!
Episode 46: 12:37
Digimon Frontier Episodes 43 - 45. As the Royal Knights arc drives us to the very ends of the Digital World, we're doing everything we can to try and make it through these terrifying three-peats! Old friends return to try and stir any feelings we might be capable of, complete with contrived Aesops about friendship and courage that are absolutely meaningless. During these loathsome fights, we learn some of the wildest Digimon star trivia, celebrate our true hero from the isles, and continue to make attempts at rewrites for this series, including our darkest one imaginable.
Episode 43: 14:52
Digimon Frontier Episodes 40 - 42. Our first threepeat of the arc starts, and with it comes a lot of suffering from having to watch so much Digimon Frontier. These episodes may not be that urgent, but we are in our quest to finish this show off once and for all! Dark chuckleheads, weirdly timed character development, and more pathetic beatdowns than we had before, the more this arc goes on the more we wish we were at the Village of Endings! If even adorable babies aren't enough to help us keep going, what hope do we have for the rest of the show? But of course, in true NovaCast fashion, we do what we can to try and imagine where these confusingly placed episodes could be used to better effect, if only to try and bring some sense to this show.

Digimon Frontier Episodes 38 - 39. With our last arc having arrived, we're immediately hit with jobbing heroes, needless exposition we've seen before, and villains who mop the floor with our chuckleheads in milliseconds - so basically everything we've seen before in slightly different flavors! This time we've blasted off to the moon for needless filler and the return of some of our favorite mons this season. Along the way we fancast dulcet tones for Dynasmon, Sloane makes her worst joke yet, and Thom gives his live reactions to episode 39.

Our long-awaited, much needed break between Digimon Frontier arcs brings us to the world of U and the end of Mamoru Hosoda's Internet of Things trilogy. The NovaCast crew goes through the whole movie, analyzing in-depth every little bit they can in between gushing about nearly every aspect. From the Beauty and the Beast parallels, to the incredible songs and the heartwrenching story, if you wanted to listen to people talk about a movie in a longer length than the movie itself, you've come to the right place! Let's enjoy this last hurrah before we're cast down a Million Miles Away back into Digimon Frontier!
Please note that this podcast talks about parental abuse, emotional abuse, and physical abuse starting at 1:18:46 and again at 1:53:45. While we do not go into graphic detail, please make sure to be careful when listening.
Digimon Frontier Episodes 36 - 37. Wow, we're done with Frontier! It's all over, and it's time to go home--Oh, wait, we've just been informed that Frontier has found a new way to extend our suffering with an eleventh hour baddie who's DEAD-SET on preventing us from packing it up. But before all that, we have to focus on the wildest Digimon dub impersonation thus far, a wholly-underwhelming final boss fight against Cherubimon, and the four musketeers reveling in their forced irrelevancy! Also in this episode: round two of Digimon Survive impressions, and the evil Zoe AU of our dreams (and nightmares)!

Digimon Frontier Episodes 34 - 35. With the NovaCast reunited, we dig deep into the newly released Digimon Survive, DigiFes, Digimon Adventure 02 The Beginning, and way too many exposition dumps in the show we're contractually obligated to talk about! Can some of the hypest Digimon forms and evolution sequences we've seen measure up to casting the minor chuckleheads into irrelevance, human Digimon propaganda, and Ophanimon's nonsensical plans? With Digimon Frontier's plot reaching its supposed apex, we'll have to work together to find the bright spots in these episodes!
