Born Amelia Hobley in 1938, Amelia Elizabeth Dyer trained as a nurse and midwife. In 1969, recently widowed and seeking a new business venture to support herself, Amelia turned to baby farming—a Victorian term for the practice of adopting unwanted infants in exchange for money.
Initially Amelia appears to take good care of these newborns until, that is, authorities start suspecting that something much more sinister is afoot.
Julie Jay talks to Lynda Weston of Lynda With a Why Podcast. If you have enjoyed this episode we would be hugely appreciative if you could rate/review us on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Castbox or whereever you get your podcasts.
