Have you ever wondered why so many Empaths and HSPs develop chronic pain years after Psychological Trauma? We are talking back pain, migraines and other mysterious pain all over the body? All this comes from our brain to protect us and sound an alarm something is wrong. The research indicates that while trauma may not directly cause chronic pain, it certainly makes highly sensitive people more vulnerable to developing chronic pain later in life after some type of psychological trauma. There are some new studies that clearly link chronic pain to trauma even with no visible injuries.
My next guest Dr. Whitney Rogers is a Therapeutic Pain Specialist. She helps active and motivated people who have struggled with pain for greater than 3 months. She provides the tools to be able to move forward, have power over pain, and live a high quality of life, all without medications, injections, or surgery. She lives in New York with her husband and 2 young boys.

My guest in this episode Tim Mousseau is a survivor of sexual violence turned educator and advocate on this important topic. At the age of 22, Tim was faced with an incident of sexual assault. On top of this, Tim had to manage the stresses of work placement sexual harassment from his boss who used Tim’s experiences as a survivor to exert toxic control. Coming to terms with his experience, Tim recognized the feeling of powerlessness. And he vowed no one else should ever feel the same way.
For the last nine years, Tim has spoken with over 400 organizations including members of Congress, the US Air Force, and Fortune 500 companies across the world on the topic of sexual violence and harassment prevention. Tim’s work now centers on the idea that everyone deserves to feel safe. In our relationships, in our organizations, and in our communities.

What is Ghosting? It's suddenly vanishing from someone’s life without so much as a call, email, or text. It has become much too common than we think, and also in other social and professional settings have shown that social rejection does activate the same pain pathways in the brain as physical pain, meaning there’s a biological correlation between rejection and pain.
My guest, Amy Fiedler is a Certified Trauma Support Specialist, Holistic Life Coach & Reiki Master Practitioner will explain her own experiences and how to deal with Ghosting. She specializes in providing you healthy emotional coping tools, supporting you in setting essential boundaries and improving your ability to self-regulate and communicate your needs and wants with those in your life.
