To those of you who don't know what emotional intelligence is it's regulating your emotions, understanding them, and managing them in positive ways. Communicating these emotions effectively to your partner, peers, or family and not allowing the emotions to control you. The key to increasing your emotional intelligence is self-awareness, practicing empathy, and practicing self-regulation.
