In today’s episode, Dr. Siohvaughn Funches continues the series, “Your Dream is Coming to Pass.” Dr. Funches recaps the message from last week and reminds New Covenant believers that this message — your dream is coming to pass — is a timeless, relevant, rhema message, word, and revelation from God. This is something you could listen to, time and time again and it would only do you good. God is faithful. He cannot lie. The Word of God is certain and sure. The blessings of God are not just for our benefit or the benefit of our loved ones at home but the benefit of everyone.
Dr. Funches looks at the life of Joseph in Genesis. As Joseph was prophesied in a dream to rule over them, his brothers jealously sold him into slavery to the Ishmaelites. Joseph was taken to Egypt but God repeatedly showed favor to Joseph, placing him in a position of power. Dr. Funches reviews the story of Potiphar’s wife accusing Joseph and causing him to be a prisoner. God continues to show favor to Joseph and he is promoted over all the prisoners. Joseph interprets the dreams of the butler and the baker but was kept in prison for two more years, until Pharaoh had troubling dreams and Joseph was summoned to interpret the dream. God gave the interpretation of the dreams and the solution to the upcoming famine to Joseph. Pharaoh promoted Joseph over Potiphar and the entire nation, under Pharaoh. God, in His mercy and grace, did that for Joseph. Dr. Funches explains that God’s blessings and promises can come to pass in an instant. Joseph later saved his own family and his nation with grain stored during the years of plenty.
God kept Joseph’s heart from bitterness, loneliness, and dismay. Listen in to hear how God will bless with power the New Covenant believers who believe Jesus.

[4:15] Isaiah 55:10, 11, NKJV 10 “For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater, 11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
[8:41] Mark 4:1–9, 13–20, NKJV 1 (read or listen to last week’s message.)
[18:17] Genesis 37:1–10, NKJV 1 Now Jacob dwelt in the land where his father was a stranger, in the land of Canaan. 2 This is the history of Jacob. Joseph, being seventeen years old, was feeding the flock with his brothers. And the lad was with the sons of Bilhah and the sons of Zilpah, his father’s wives; and Joseph brought a bad report of them to his father. 3 Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age. Also he made him a tunic of many colors. 4 But when his brothers saw that their father loved him more than all his brothers, they hated him and could not speak peaceably to him. 5 Now Joseph had a dream, and he told it to his brothers; and they hated him even more. 6 So he said to them, “Please hear this dream which I have dreamed: 7 There we were, binding sheaves in the field. Then behold, my sheaf arose and also stood upright; and indeed your sheaves stood all around and bowed down to my sheaf.” 8 And his brothers said to him, “Shall you indeed reign over us? Or shall you indeed have dominion over us?” So they hated him even more for his dreams and for his words. 9 Then he dreamed still another dream and told it to his brothers, and said, “Look, I have dreamed another dream. And this time, the sun, the moon, and the eleven stars bowed down to me.” 10 So he told it to his father and his brothers; and his father rebuked him and said to him, “What is this dream that you have dreamed? Shall your mother and I and your brothers indeed come to bow down to the earth before you?” 11 And his brothers envied him, but his father kept the matter in mind.

In today’s episode, Dr. Siohvaughn Funches begins a new series, “Your Dream is Coming to Pass.” Dr. Funches begins with the relevance of the rhema Word of God in this message today and the power of meditating on this truth and getting it inside us as well as being able to teach it to others. Dr. Funches shows in Isaiah that the Word of God comes down as the rain and the snow from heaven, and shall not return to God void. She uses the parable of the sower found in Mark chapter 4 to remind us that where the word of God grows it brings forth much fruit.
For the believer — for the born again Christian, faith in Jesus leads to receiving all the blessings God has in mind for His people. If God sends you His will in a dream, you know it will come to pass. Please listen in to find more of the blessings of faith in the Word.
KEY BIBLE VERSES
[13:15] Isaiah 55:10, 11, NKJV 10 “For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater, 11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”
[21:41] Mark 4:1-9, NKJV 1 And again He began to teach by the sea. And a great multitude was gathered to Him, so that He got into a boat and sat in it on the sea; and the whole multitude was on the land facing the sea. 2 Then He taught them many things by parables, and said to them in His teaching: 3 “Listen! Behold, a sower went out to sow. 4 And it happened, as he sowed, that some seed fell by the wayside; and the birds of the air came and devoured it. 5 Some fell on stony ground, where it did not have much earth; and immediately it sprang up because it had no depth of earth. 6 But when the sun was up it was scorched, and because it had no root it withered away. 7 And some seed fell among thorns; and the thorns grew up and choked it, and it yielded no crop. 8 But other seed fell on good ground and yielded a crop that sprang up, increased and produced: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.” 9 And He said to them, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”
[22:46] Mark 4:13-20, NKJV 13 And He said to them, “Do you not understand this parable? How then will you understand all the parables? 14 The sower sows the word. 15 And these are the ones by the wayside where the word is sown. When they hear, Satan comes immediately and takes away the word that was sown in their hearts. 16 These likewise are the ones sown on stony ground who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with gladness; 17 and they have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a time. Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the word’s sake, immediately they stumble. 18 Now these are the ones sown among thorns; they are the ones who hear the word, 19 and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. 20 But these are the ones sown on good ground, those who hear the word, accept it, and bear fruit: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.”

In today’s episode, Dr. Siohvaughn Funches finishes this series of “No More Condemnation.” Dr. Funches first recaps the last two episodes and she invites you to go back and hear them if you have not heard them already, as a foundation for today’s message. Beginning with John 3:16–17, Dr. Funches shows that it was God’s unconditional love that sent Jesus to give us everlasting life. The greatest demonstration of God’s love is giving us Jesus. Dr. Funches reminds us that Adam and Eve hid from God but God came and found them. God sent the fish to swallow Jonah and hold him for three days.
For the believer — for the born again Christian, there is no more condemnation for you. Dr. Funches explains in the Word that the Law is obsolete; that condemnation comes by the Law, and we are no longer under the Law so we are no longer under condemnation. God will remember our lawless deeds no more.
As you go through the Bible, Dr. Funches invites you to find scriptures that talk about the righteous, and highlight those or mark them for reference. Please listen in.

But what do You say?” 6 This they said, testing Him, that they might have something of which to accuse Him. But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with His finger, as though He did not hear. 7 So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.” 8 And again He stooped down and wrote on the ground. 9 Then those who heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning with the oldest even to the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. 10 When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? In today’s episode, Dr. Siohvaughn Funches continues this series and delves into the topic of No More Condemnation. Dr. Funches stresses the importance of seeing this truth in the Word of God and of letting God establish it and settle it in our hearts. We have been made righteous by the blood of Jesus. God does not condemn us and we should not condemn ourselves.
Dr. Funches shows in the Word of God that it was God’s idea to send Jesus. God loved us before Jesus went to the cross. God’s love came first. It is unconditional. God is love, no matter what we do or don’t do. God sent Jesus to redeem us from sin, once and for all. God says He will remember lawless deeds no more. As we learned in the previous weeks, as New Covenant believers, we are no longer living under the law and are no longer under the condemnation of the law. Dr. Funches reviews the account of the woman with an issue of blood to illustrate the mercy and grace that Jesus showed to her by healing her when she demonstrated her faith in Him.

KEY BIBLE VERSES [5:13] Proverbs 4:20–22, NKJV 20 My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. 21 Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; 22 For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh. [10:14] Luke 5:15, NKJV 15 However, the report went around concerning Him all the more; and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by Him of their infirmities. [11:52] Luke 5:17–25, NKJV 17 Now it happened on a certain day, as He was teaching, that there were Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting by, who had come out of every town of Galilee, Judea, and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was present [c]to heal them. 18 Then behold, men brought on a bed a man who was paralyzed, whom they sought to bring in and lay before Him. 19 And when they could not find how they might bring him in, because of the crowd, they went up on the housetop and let him down with his bed through the tiling into the midst before Jesus. 20 When He saw their faith, He said to him, “Man, your sins are forgiven you.” 21 And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, “Who is this who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins but God alone?” 22 But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, He answered and said to them, “Why are you reasoning in your hearts? 23 Which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Rise up and walk’? 24 But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”—He said to the man who was paralyzed, “I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.” 25 Immediately he rose up before them, took up what he had been lying on, and departed to his own house, glorifying God. [16:17] Luke 6:6–10, NKJV 6 Now it happened on another Sabbath, also, that He entered the synagogue and taught. And a man was there whose right hand was withered. 7 So the scribes and Pharisees watched Him closely, whether He would heal on the Sabbath, that they might find an accusation against Him. 8 But He knew their thoughts, and said to the man who had the withered hand, “Arise and stand here.” And he arose and stood. 9 Then Jesus said to them, “I will ask you one thing: Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do evil, to save life or to destroy?” 10 And when He had looked around at them all, He said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And he did so, and his hand was restored as whole as the other. [19:40] Luke 6:17–19, NKJV 17 And He came down with them and stood on a level place with a crowd of His disciples and a great multitude of people from all Judea and Jerusalem, and from the seacoast of Tyre and Sidon, who came to hear Him and be healed of their diseases, 18 as well as those who were tormented with unclean spirits. And they were healed. 19 And the whole multitude sought to touch Him, for power went out from Him and healed them all. [26:50] Psalm 91:15, NKJV 15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. [29:57] Acts 14:1–3, NKJV 1 Now it happened in Iconium that they went together to the synagogue of the Jews, and so spoke that a great multitude both of the Jews and of the Greeks believed. 2 But the unbelieving Jews stirred up the Gentiles and poisoned their minds against the brethren. 3 Therefore they stayed there a long time, speaking boldly in the Lord, who was bearing witness to the word of His grace, granting signs and wonders to be done by their hands. [30:50] Acts 14:8–10, NKJV 8 And in Lystra a certain man without strength in his feet was sitting, a cripple from his mother’s womb, who had never walked. 9 This man heard Paul speaking. Paul, observing him intently and seeing that he had faith to be healed, 10 said with a loud voice, “Stand up straight on your feet!” And he leaped and walked.

In today’s episode, Dr. Siohvaughn Funches delves deeper into the one thing that is needful. As she continues this series, Dr. Funches encourages you to listen to each of the previous episodes in this series on what it means to be a New Covenant believer in Christ Jesus, even if you have heard them once.Dr. Funches recaps from the last episode that as New Covenant believers all the blessings and promises of God are received by faith. We’re under the New Covenant; we’re not under the Old Covenant, where your works would have a part in manifesting these things. Now, in order to receive from God, you do what Jesus said in the Word, and you only believe. The faith to believe comes by hearing, and by hearing the word of Christ. That’s what God purposed in His heart to do, through this podcast. When faith comes we believe God and when we believe God we receive from God. God wants us to receive His blessings now. We receive from God by His Grace and by faith, not through our efforts. The greatest blessing God can give us is salvation; the remission of all our sins; the saving of our souls, which is why Jesus was delivered up to the cross for us, shed His blood and died for us, to forgive us for each and every sin. In the greatest blessing, all the lesser blessings are included.
Last week Dr. Funches touched on the other huge blessing, which is justification by faith and not by keeping the Law. From the beginning to the end, the Bible is filled with blessings and you can lay claim on them all, as all the promises of God are in Christ.
Dr. Funches examines additional scripture verses, this week, that God brought out to Dr. Funches this week. First, she notes the blessings made to Abraham and to his seed, not through the Law but through the righteousness of faith. When Abraham heard the gospel preached, he believed. Abraham and his seed are heirs to the world. Dr. Funches explains what it means to be heirs to the world. Abraham received his blessings by faith and gave glory to God. The blessings of God in this world have spiritual effects. God blesses you by faith. You receive every blessing through faith. [13:54] Romans 4:13, NKJV 13 For the promise that he would be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.
[14:34] Galatians 3:6, NKJV 6 Just as Abraham “believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.”
[14:53] Romans 4:3, NKJV 3 For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.”
[15:48] Galatians 3:8, NKJV 8 And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, “In you all the nations shall be blessed.”
[17:36] Galatians 3:7–9, NKJV 7 Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham. 8 And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, “In you all the nations shall be blessed.” 9 So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham.
[18:01] Galatians 3:29, NKJV 29 And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
[18:10] Romans 4:14, NKJV 14 For if those who are of the law are heirs, faith is made void and the promise made of no effect,
[34:27] John 6:28–29, NKJV 28 Then they said to Him, “What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?” 29 Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”
[37:48] Galatians 3:5, NKJV 5 Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

In today’s episode, Dr. Siohvaughn Funches delves deeper into the one thing that is needful, continuing this series. Dr. Funches first recaps what we learned last week, especially for those joining us for the first time. She encourages you to listen to each episode in this series if you have not heard them and have your Bible with you or take notes, as the scriptures are read. Dr. Funches recaps from previous episodes that this podcast has a divine purpose from God. She reviews what it means to be a New Covenant believer and establishes that we are under a New Covenant. The Old Covenant of Moses has been fulfilled for us by Jesus Christ. Dr. Funches reminds us that this New Covenant is a better covenant built on better promises as seen in the Word of God. Under this New Covenant that we are no longer doing works or abiding by the Law in order to receive the blessings of God. Jesus has done everything for us. As New Covenant believers, the only thing we have to do to receive the blessings of God is only believe. We learned that the faith to believe comes by hearing, and hearing the Word of Christ. We looked last week in the Bible at what getting at the feet of Jesus looks like. Jesus is the Word and the Word is God. Jesus is in every page of the Bible.
Dr. Funches brings additional scripture verses to our view this week, reminding us that we live by faith in Jesus, and in His Blood, which is shed for the remission of sins. Dr. Funches teaches what it means to be justified and have peace with God. Please listen in for more instruction from the Word of God.
