Less affluent communities in the United States struggle with lack of access to basic services even in the best of times. With COVID-19 ravaging communities—and hitting poorer areas and communities of color particularly hard—the work that the HSUS Pets for Life team does to connect people and pets with wellness care resources and information has become all the more vital.
