Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of John 6:51 which says "I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.”

"It is with a heavy heart that I look at all the brokenness and sigh. I don’t have all of the answers. But I do know, rather than wasting my breath pushing a certain political agenda, I need to be using my breath to push the only agenda. 

Jesus is the living bread that came down from heaven. The world sucked then too. I know it couldn’t have been fun living in the roman era. We have instructions on what to do when life is heavy. We have a book we can read. A father we can confide in. A savior we can run too. Jesus’ agenda is the only agenda I want to share. 

He sacrificed His life so that we may have eternal life. We get to share that love with those around us. So when you don’t know what to do, run to your father who does. Like I said, I don’t always have the answers, but I will keep running to the only one who does. "
