What Stone Cold Guilty can offer that will set it apart from other books on the case includes - intimate, accessible, real-time reporting and analysis that did not appear in mainstream media. - Compelling evidence that Laci was already dead and had been taken to the Bay before 10:08 am December 24, 2002 - That Peterson made two trips to the San Francisco Bay and why the prosecutors did not present that theory at trial. - Peterson self-sabotaged the "perfect crime" because of his personality. - Fruit of the investigation that was not introduced (or not admitted) at trial, including results of the various dog tracking, sonar findings, and specific deep-water research on Peterson's computer. - An exclusive series chronicling the underwater investigation, with photographs, charts and expert narrative provided by Gene Ralston, head of Ralston & Associates, a side-scan sonar expert involved in the search for Laci Peterson.

In 1983, Roy Radin, would-be impresario, joined forces with fading movie producer Robert Evans and Elaine "Laney" Jacobs, a woman with the burning ambition to use the millions she had made by drug dealing to buy her way into the movie industry. Together they planned to finance the movie Cotton Club. When Radin's body was found miles away from Los Angeles, the police had few clues and eventually had to put the investigation on hold. At the request of Radin's mother, New York Newsday's Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, Steve Wick, began looking into Radin's last weeks and soon unearthed the sordid connection between deal making and drug dealing that set all Hollywood on its ear. Bad Company is both a fascinating and strangely repellent look at the darker side of the entertainment industry, as well as a striking portrait of the people who control the drug culture in this country.

The Source Family
was a high-profile spiritual commune and cult founded in Hollywood in the early 1970s by James Edward Baker, better known as Father Yod. The group is famous for its early adoption of organic health foods, its psychedelic rock band, and its eventual tragic relocation to Hawaii.

Key Aspects of The Source Family

• The Leader: Father Yod was a former WWII hero, Hollywood restaurateur, and stuntman who reinvented himself as a guru. He lived in a mansion with 14 wives and drove a Rolls Royce, claiming he was a "spiritual father" to his 140 followers.
• The Source Restaurant: The group operated a popular vegetarian restaurant on the Sunset Strip that became a celebrity hotspot for figures like John Lennon and Warren Beatty. It is famously parodied in Woody Allen's Annie Hall.
• Music: The Family formed an experimental psychedelic rock band called Ya Ho Wha 13. They recorded nine albums between 1973 and 1975, which are now considered cult classics in the psych-rock genre.
• Beliefs & Lifestyle: Members practiced communal living, yoga, and meditation based on a blend of Western esotericism and the Age of Aquarius. They all adopted the last name "Aquarian".
• The End: Following pressure from local authorities, the group moved to Hawaii in 1974. In 1975, Father Yod died following a hang-gliding accident on Oahu. The Family largely disbanded shortly after his death.

Media & Legacy
The story of the group was brought to a wider audience through the 2012 documentary The Source Family, directed by Jodi Wille and Maria Demopoulos. It was based on the book The Source: The Untold Story of Father Yod, Ya Ho Wa 13 and The Source Family by original members Isis Aquarian and Electricity Aquarian.

Dr. Feelgood: The Shocking Story of the Doctor Who May Have Changed History by Treating and Drugging JFK, Marilyn, Elvis
Doctor Max Jacobson, whom the Secret Service under President John F. Kennedy code-named “Dr. Feelgood,” developed a unique “energy formula” that altered the paths of some of the twentieth century’s most iconic figures, including President and Jackie Kennedy, Marilyn Monroe, Frank Sinatra, and Elvis. JFK received his first injection (a special mix of “vitamins and hormones,” according to Jacobson) just before his first debate with Vice President Richard Nixon. The shot into JFK’s throat not only cured his laryngitis, but also diminished the pain in his back, allowed him to stand up straighter, and invigorated the tired candidate. Kennedy demolished Nixon in that first debate and turned a tide of skepticism about Kennedy into an audience that appreciated his energy and crispness. What JFK didn’t know then was that the injections were actually powerful doses of a combination of highly addictive liquid methamphetamine and steroids.

Author and researcher Rick Lertzman and New York Times bestselling author Bill Birnes reveal heretofore unpublished material about the mysterious Dr. Feelgood. Through well-researched prose and interviews with celebrities including George Clooney, Jerry Lewis, Yogi Berra, and Sid Caesar, the authors reveal Jacobson’s vast influence on events such as the assassination of JFK, the Cuban Missile Crisis, the Kennedy-Khrushchev Vienna Summit, the murder of Marilyn Monroe, the filming of the C. B. DeMille classic The Ten Commandments, and the work of many of the great artists of that era. Jacobson destroyed the lives of several famous patients in the entertainment industry and accidentally killed his own wife, Nina, with an overdose of his formula.
