John Littleton: Reminding folks that we used to do million dollar jobs with a pencil and a notepad, what would happen if the internet went down, it's gonna be chaotic to catch fish, you can't catch fish unless you don't go, it's a little different shooting at a wild animal, hogs are incredibly hard to thin out, they are a serious nuisance.

 

Krik Stansel: Having a major flush this morning, wind is up and tide is out, had a great bite yesterday morning but once the tide went out that was it, since Laura hit the tides never went out, when water is two foot higher than normal it's hard to dress a duck blind, storm ptsd, no more cones of projections.

Steve Hillman: Looking at the little and big dipper, might grab a smoke stick out of the vault this morning, wind has been blowing constantly since Tuesday, covered up in deer and pigs, the string coming off the bow, if you can't shoot em, watch em. Have so many groups of pigs, a good flush for the bay system, slicks coming off the boat, best big trout bite I've been on since last March, mostly on top waters and lele's, caught them in really skinny water into the grass, what's the most amount of bucks you've seen at once,

Glenn Hammond: Trying to get a pattern, experienced plenty of low tides this week, put doobie and his grandsons to work this week, found a ball of sand trout, had a good variety of fish, the bays are even more shallow with the low tides, artificials are cool are year long, bait camps are holding some bait, just get here early, may want to go to the San Luis pass ramp with the low tides, kick starting the weather vayne.

 

James Plaag: The masters is on it's way, the houston open is next week, ain't gonna sink yet but they will, founder fanatics, getting pretty western, water temperatures at the moment and going into the weekend, wading at seawolf park, what all is going on with the upcoming flounder run, history of flounder migrating out of the marshes in trinity bay, and a little wading belt talk.

 

Brian Barrera: Going tarpon fishing this morning, the real big ones will be targeted early then off to the juveniles in the afternoon, hopefully the seas and wind will be calm, hearing waves on the other side of the island, piggys ruining lures and eating the tails, some good bull reds are entering the area, made a run up to the ranch to clear some areas, jacking some bass on the pod, excited for deer season, seeing your biggest deer after spike and doe season.

Mike Jeffcoat: Waiting for daylight to see how much damage there is from the latest hurricane, a lot of people stayed and rode out the hurricane, took a little whoopin on this one, got more rain than we thought, nail biting time when the water and pipelines are low, jumping the bulkheads, there was water inside the parking garage at the golden nugget. 

 

James Plagg: Is he fishing or stealing someone's electronics? Had a good day Sunday, absolutely smoked em, some really nice 4 pounders, floating hot rods, shedogs and tails, Monday the wind was smokin and super rough but still caught some nice trout and two big flounders, the fish are in a lot of places right now, a little Jim Cantore action, getting ready for the next golf game!

 

Michael Marquez: Getting ready to flounder ship this morning, been catching a bunch of reds on the outsides of the jetties, wind is picking up on the island, 20-25 is no fun, at least it's not gonna rain today, a little flounder secret just for you!

 

Randy Deerman: Been fishing some good schools of bass, catching mostly on worms and carolina rigs, most bites are in about 18 foot of water, rather catch numbers of bass than only a couple big ones all day, nice when a plan comes together!

Bill Watkins: About to break his quarantine, losing count of all the hurricanes we've had, fall conditions behind a hurricane will be weird, the hand-pump well saved us, not flushing but filling up the lake, fish are still in the same place they were months ago, my personal record was 65, losing jig heads on a daily basis, a lure surcharge!

Richard Tatsch: It's too cold to fish! Calm and cold conditions at the house, if it's rough and cold then I'm not going, fall time fronts is when Bass feed aggressively, this is the time when they will chase baits on a swim jig or a spinner bait in the early morning hours, the water is still warm, the air is cooler than the water, smoke on the water, Conroe is very hard to pattern.

Glenn Hammond: It's mighty quiet down here, 0-3mph NW wind this morning, George the great blue heron, if you're gonna know what you're doing then good, 67 degrees this morning very calm conditions at the moment, but the wind will switch to the east, these shrimp are on steroids, absolutely huge, if you want live shrimp pick some up before you arrive down here!

 

Tony Gonzalez: Story about Tommy Lasorda and the Dodgers, what will happen with the latest tropical development in the gulf, how the current cooling trends will affect fishing and a possible blue moon for Halloween, popping a hog if one comes out, had some trips this week, okay Dad I'm ready! Lynn Smith: Out in George West chasing two-legged deer, seeing some good deer right at dark, nine gobblers walked by the stand by him, a Rio Grande turkey with a long blond beard, have seen some young bucks start to lock up and play around a little bit, a little woodpecker story.

 

Steve Hillman: Have rod will travel, Mr. Buddy heaters, toilet paper and a coffee can, friends need fish, tide has been high, there's a lot of shrimp and shad in the marsh, catching mostly everything on tails, good bites oh the watermelon red lil jon, some good trout this week but also a lot of dinks, looks like a good crew this morning, have had good luck with twitch baits this time of year, got to have a better habitat to grow and keep fish, what steps are being taken for habitat and erosion control for Galveston Bay.
