Listen. I think it is important for you to know where I am coming from.
I have been on the ground level of conservatism, trying to be helpful and useful in pushing conservative values, candidates, ideas & ideals for years now. I have been denigrated by leftists, named as a “far-right extremist” by MSM publications throughout the state; publications like the Post & Courier, Fox Carolina, WCIV News 4, WCBD News 2, Live 5 News, The Island Packet, The State, among countless others.
From the South Lawn of Trump’s White House, to covering the truth of J6 (paying the price for doing so, and being met with CRICKETS from those who currently pretend to rail against the travesty of how we were all treated), to uncovering multiple “sleepers” in South Carolina’s Republican primaries & exposing massive amounts of corruption in various counties. Not to mention helping to get disgusting books filled with porn & racist ideas out of schools throughout the state, among MANY other successes that I have played a role in, alongside TRUE grassroots conservative fighters from all over South Carolina. This is what I do, this is my purpose, and this is what I feel is the most important thing I could possibly be doing in today’s upside-down world.
Leftist activists and very popular leftist influencers have relentlessly attacked me for exposing them. RINOs (& I use that term in the strictest sense) have joined in. Public shaming, whisper campaigns against me, blatant vitriol and hatred directed at me, not because I seek power, nor because I hold power…but because I have shown a relentless willingness to help other conservatives accomplish their goals, and because I have never been afraid of a challenge by members of the establishment or the hate-mongers on the left.
I have been chased off streets by leftists intent on destroying our cities, like Charleston…I have had race-baiting activists pull guns on me for telling people the truth and showing it to them using my cameras and my voice. I have been refused service at various establishments, I have been lied about and worse by these same groups of leftists & fake conservatives.
Unfortunately, many people who deem themselves to be “America First” have also jumped into the fray of “Let’s Alienate Corey!!!” through manipulation and lies, mischaracterizations mixed with begging others not to look at my work, but to trust their own hate-filled judgements instead.
I’ll tell you what, my work speaks for itself. I am not seeking power, nor am I seeking undying and unquestioning loyalty. The only goal I have is to show people the truth as I see it, and I base that truth on the evidence as presented.
With that being said (And there will be more said on this in the coming days), The above podcast is what I consider an objective view of what has gone on with the leadership of MySCGOP. A group that has apparently been holding backroom secret meetings for some time of unchosen, self appointed, unelected individuals who have God complexes approaching the heights of radical Muslim Imams in Afghanistan or Iran.
This group has done so well in taking the energy and willingness of so many good people in our state to help save our nation, and guiding that energy into chaos, destruction, vitriol and ineffectiveness. And I have stood by for years and watched it happen.
It is important for me to reiterate that the LEADERSHIP of this group is entirely separate from the rank & file members. Just like the majority of Russian citizens were good people, but Stalin & his “leadership council” (as Harrison Musselwhite himself describes such a group) were manipulative, relentless and willing to do ANYTHING to gain and retain power. This similarity between this historical truth and the current situation with MySCGOP is almost undeniable at this point. The propensity to “cancel” those who step out of line, and metaphorically “disappearing” those who were “good members” but disagreed on a single, simple item, causing that individual (i.e. Zoe Warren) to instantly become “persona non grata.” What’s worse; ANYONE who associates with that newly deemed “traitor” who questioned the motive or actions of anyone in the “inner circle” have also found themselves isolated and alienated from this group who they once called friends and colleagues.
We saw the same thing 2 years ago when Lin Wood went from MySCGOP’s “golden calf” to their whipping boy within weeks of the last SCGOP state convention, after he lost that race to McKissick. It’s not new, but, since Wood had a national profile and was from Georgia, with no roots in SC, it was much easier to write him off at the time. The failures were placed on his shoulders, and the misleading continued.
This is a dangerous way to run a political group. They say that power corrupts. I want you to see that the SEARCH for power, for its own sake, can show the corrupt spirit and heart of a person too, often even moreso than holding power itself.
If an individual or a small group of people are willing to lie, denigrate, ostracize others, destroy the lives of others, manipulate the truth & demand absolute and unquestioning loyalty from others on their journey SEEKING power, what do you think that same individual or small group would do if they actually achieved their goal of gaining that power? Well, we have a lot of historical examples of EXACTLY what happens in those situations. Despotism. Tyranny. Downfall.
I don’t demand that you believe me. I only ask that you listen to what I have to say, and pray on it, meditate on it, think about it. I ask that you do this not from a place of confirmation biases, but from a place of an open mind. From one “nobody” who just wants what is best for our state and for conservatism in general. I am not seeking a vote. I am not seeking power. I have nothing to gain, personally, from speaking out on what I have witnessed.
As a matter of fact, it would be MUCH easier and more beneficial to my peace for me to have ignored this subject entirely, and pretended I couldn’t see any of it.
There is only one problem. I can’t stand the thought of so many good people being so misled by charlatans & power-hungry individuals seeking personal gain to the detriment & at the expense of our Republic. I believe in our nation, and its principles. And I am determined to never be in a position to look my grandchildren in the eyes and tell them “I didn’t stand up when I knew I should have. I didn’t speak out when I saw what was wrong…and it cost our state, our nation, our way of life dearly because I was unwilling to call out those seeking to become despots when I had a platform that COULD have made a difference.”
I refuse to be silent about what I know. And, as I have said before to leftists, angry mobs facing me down as I held a camera and they held knives and guns, bureaucratic dogs attempting to take our liberties, and fake conservatives seeking power for its own sake: If you want me to stop, You’re going to have to hope I die or kill me.
I am here for the right reason, and my goal is to do whatever I can to save our Republic. I refuse to watch narcissists & demagogues mislead good South Carolinian conservatives in order to line their own pocketbooks and fulfill their own God complexes. (See the corruption in the current proposed PACE bill…and watch who spends all their time pushing that bill, for their own gain.)
Not gonna happen.
Hate me if you’d like…I am used to that, leftists and tyrants will never like me. But there are some things that you cannot deny. I have been consistent in my views, I have been relentless in my work, I have been concise in expressing my beliefs.
So before you come with the “YoU’rE A fAkE cOnSeRvAtIvE” and all that jazz, ask yourself how many of those in this state that YOU follow have been relentlessly attacked by the left and MSM for their work towards OUR conservative ideals?
I will not stop fighting the left. I will not stop calling out corruption when I see it. My work speaks for itself, you can find it in many places.
