In this episode with Kaarle Wirta, Operations Manager of Padel Tampere, we talk the growth of Padel Tampere and padel in Finland, about competitions they are running, and the coach education we have provided for their coaches.
Kaarle Wirta, 6 months ago, expressed an interest in having our team fly in and do a week long clinic for their coaches. Despite roadblocks from COVID-19, we finally made it happen.

This solo episode we discuss some ideas that could help you when it comes to preparing for your matches.
Whether you are playing international competition or a friendly game in the evening after work - you want to win, right?! So the easiest way to give yourself a leg up on the opponent is to be better prepared.
Turning up 3 minutes before your match and doing a few arm swings does not count as preparation. So here we talk about considerations before you even get to the club.

This episode we talk with one of the up and coming British players, Nikhil, about his first European Championships experience - what he did to prepare, what he felt on court, about the other countries being represented and what he plans to train for the future!
There are also some very valuable tips for anyone looking to improve the level of the competition and this is a MUST LISTEN for any junior players coming through.
This episode with one of our students is an interesting discussion about match preparation, communication and the difference between playing with a new partner vs playing with someone you know very well.
There are different levels to understand your partner on - it is not just understanding how they play shots, it is also their decision making, their personality, what motivates them and even their organization.
Thank you to Mats for allowing us to record one of our coaching sessions and I hope more players would find this useful!

We always enjoy interviewing players in different countries and Norbert has been involved with padel in Switzerland for the last couple of years. He gives some interesting insight into it's growth and where he think it will go from here.
We also found out the Norbert plays for Hungary, so maybe that is a place we should also keep an eye on!
Norbert also has his own podcast, which has some great interviews and you can find that here: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-padlr-podcast/id1554144344
