This week Derrick and Jason consider the incredible comfort that we find in knowing that Christ is on the throne at all times, even when life seems to be at its craziest. When we trust in God's sovereignty, we find hope that cannot be found anywhere else.

Derrick and Jason are back for Season 5 of The Path Podcast! They jump right back in to the book of Revelation and pick up in chapter 7.

This week Derrick and Jason discuss Revelation 6:1–8 and how Jesus begins to break open the seals on the scroll he took from the right hand of God the Father.  There are some very specific things that happen as each of these seals is broken, but ultimately it all points back to Jesus sovereignly reigning over everything. 

This week Derrick takes over host duties as Jason helps us get a little deeper  understanding of what it looks like to see Jesus in our everyday lives.  Revelation 5 gave us an incredible image of the Lamb lifted up and glorified, and it affects our lives today.

This week Derrick and Jason take a look at the incredible importance of remembering that God is on His throne and He has all things under His control even while our lives may feel chaotic. We can find hope and confidence in this truth that we see in Revelation 5:1-7.

This week Derrick and Jason point our attention back to Revelation as we move into Chapter 4 and are given a picture of the Almighty God seated on the throne in heaven.  When we rightly understand that God has everything under control in heaven, then we can live with confidence here on Earth.

This week Derrick and Jason wrap up the Rescue series, and they look back at the celebration of Easter.

This week Derrick and Jason continue to discuss the rescue that we receive from Christ.  Derrick preached this week about the rescue in the quiet that is found through God working in the 400 years of silence in between the Old and New Testaments.  God's timing is always best, and his timing teaches us to trust in him more deeply.
