The Pittsburgh Penguins have been busy this week and Hunter and Pat are here to discuss all of the latest news. They first start out with the three players who were signed to PTO contracts late Tuesday night into Wednesday and analyze whether they have a shot of making the team. They start with Lubor Hajek and how his NHL sample has been ROUGH, to say the least before looking at both Mark Pysyk and Austin Wagner. Which of those two have the best odds of making the team? Can Pysyk push Ruhwedel for a job? Does Wagner fit the bill of the rest of the bottom six moves that were made this offseason? After that, they look at some of the FO moves that the Penguins made earlier this week, including hiring Cam Charron to add to their analytics team. Both Hunter and Pat praise this move a lot as FSG wants to keep building out the team's analytic staff. They also look at the scouts that were hired and have a discussion about how diverse this front office is. Finally, they end the show by discussing how FSG plans to buy AT&T Sportsnet and how this can only be a good thing for the Penguins.
