Avengers vs. X-Men #6
Reminder that you can read along with and ahead of the show by subscribing to Marvel Unlimited (we don't get paid for you doing that, so it's not an ad, it's just a cool service). You can also use Comixology, or buy the trades from your local comic book shop (the preferred method, if we're being honest). Be sure to check with your local library to see if they have them there! Even the most soft-boiled detective knows that some mysteries should remain unsolved. That's where Hank messes up when he starts HankCo Superworld in an effort to "get a job" after graduating from "high school", and he ends up play acting as a private eye searching for the truth of Dermot's parentage. And it goes without saying that the answer is disturbing.
Special thanks to Joshua Jarett for our cover art, Gwen May for our theme song, and Brayton Cameron for being our announcer.
Everything To Guppy is a bite-sized, four-times weekly comedy/gaming podcast in which Gary Butterfield (Watch Out For Fireballs) and William Hughes (The A.V. Club) attempt to analyze every single item, boss, character, and concept in the rogue-lite video game The Binding Of Isaac. They manage to pull it off only slightly less than 50 percent of the time.
We can't lie and say this minigame collection is any good, but we CAN talk about how great the Goosebumps books are. And we can gush about how important kids' horror media was to us when we were young.
This week we conclude our discussion of Grime, the superlative Soulslike where you play as a rock man with a black hole head. We pick up after the Carven Palace and continue running errands for Shidra, before learning the truth of the Coda and our purpose in this world.
What if the 90s were made into a pure, uncut video drug? You'd get GamePro TV. Hosted by J.D. Roth and the contemptible B-Man, this half-hour commercial claimed to be the television version of GamePro Magazine. Listen as we talk about this fever dream of green-screen effects and poorly stretched commentary.

Time was, just saying another character's catch phrase was enough to make people like you. Unfortunately, rapid fire quips aren't enough to save Gex from irrelevance.
Kole, Ben, Dennis, and Jala talk about Gloomhaven, House of Ashes, and we ask you which game protagonist would be the worst friend.
The Grind:You givin' me orders?
Wings of Liberty and Starcraft 2 in general is the last gasp of a certain kind of RTS and a certain kind of Blizzard game. The last expression of their dumb as nails plotting and finely tuned gameplay outside of mmos and cardgames. This game may be stacked to the gills with story cliches, but it dispenses gamertreats with a consistency almost unmatched, which makes it worth your time, if not your money. What with the monsterism at blizzard.
