Kole may not be able to convince Gary that Homestar Runner is funny, but at least we can both agree that the porn game that's also named Peasant's Quest is gross as heck.
Grime is a brand new, very strange Soulslike that we really recommend you try out. You play as an unnamed creature with a black hole for a head, who is born into a world of stone and bodily tissue. Society is stratified based on who has, literally, the best chiseled proportions, and everything has an uncanny otherness to it.
This first episode covers the generalities of the game, and goes up to the gates of the town of Lithic.
Everything To Guppy is a bite-sized, four-times weekly comedy/gaming podcast in which Gary Butterfield (Watch Out For Fireballs) and William Hughes (The A.V. Club) attempt to analyze every single item, boss, character, and concept in the rogue-lite video game The Binding Of Isaac. They manage to pull it off only slightly less than 50 percent of the time.
X-Men Legacy #266
Reminder that you can read along with and ahead of the show by subscribing to Marvel Unlimited (we don't get paid for you doing that, so it's not an ad, it's just a cool service). You can also use Comixology, or buy the trades from your local comic book shop (the preferred method, if we're being honest). Be sure to check with your local library to see if they have them there! This debut film by Robert Eggers, an Unfilmable alum for his sophomore movie The Lighthouse, is a chilling period piece about the horrors of old time religion and the casual violence that can be done within a family. We disagree over whether or not it matters if the supernatural stuff is real, but we absolutely agree that this is an effective horror movie that you must watch.
